Exceptionally good hot sauce
Really good and delicious. For some reason the spicy version is pour while the mild only comes out one drop at a time, doesn't make sense. Anyway, good.

Great Product
Great hot sauce. Great flavor and good heat! I use it on everything. Heat isn’t overwhelming.

Lots of flavor
I have had a chance to try all 4 sauces now, and I have to admit that they are all really good. Each is definitely a flavor over heat sauce, but the extra hot does pack a little bit of a kick. All of the sauces have a very mild vinegar taste, and are thickened by xantham gum to give a better consistency. The green sauce is mild in heat with a really good flavor. It would be slightly warmer than Taco Bell mild sauce. It has a noticeable jalapeño flavor and would go well on any Mexican dish (I had it on tacos). The original is a little hotter but still pretty mild. I had it on some pizza and it was excellent. The yellow sauce is my favorite. It steps the heat up and has a good scotch bonnet/habanero flavor without being scorching hot. Very nice sauce. It is a step below Trader Joe's habanero sauce in heat for comparison, with a garlic kick. The extra hot is my second favorite. Good pepper flavor that is blended well with a few other ingredients and a nice heat. I tried this one on pizza as well and preferred it over the original.Overall I would highly recommend all of the sauces, but especially the yellow and extra hot.

My Go to Hot-Sauce
I have been a big fan of the original and the green variety for several years now since those are the ones I can usually find in the markets around me if I’m lucky. The original flavor is somewhat comparable to Tapatio. The heat is about the same, but the flavor of the chilies in bandito is way more delicious. It’s a little bit smokey and has more depth. Unlike other hot sauces that lean hard on vinegar acidity like Tabasco, this sauce leans more on the actual chilies that make it taste so good. I’ve put it on all sorts of stuff and it’s good every time. Tacos, burritos, eggs, pizza, ramen, rice, beans, soups, chicken, beef, ANYTHING THAT CAN USE A KICK! The Green Is also excellent as well. The best comparison would be the green Chollula sauce (which is also great when I can’t find Green bandito). The green highlights Serrano, habanero, and jalapeño in a brighter zestier flavor. Both of these add the perfect balance of flavor and heat to any dish you put them on. And as the bottle says, they are also “easy on the pooper”. The Super Hot variety is good if you want to kick it up a notch with the heat. That one has scorpion peppers and does have a good kick but still offers decent flavor to go along with it! I don’t use this one as often, but it’s a good way to spice things up if you want the heat. The one that caught me by surprise in this pack was the Spicy yellow. I actually really really enjoyed the flavor and will definitely be buying more in the future. It’s a combination of Scotch bonnet and habanero peppers that leans a little bit more towards the vinegar style hot sauces. It’s a little bit spicier than the original and green, but has just as much great chili flavor. That one goes well with chicken and pork dishes, but honestly I’ve thrown it on a little bit of everything mentioned above as well. I always have these in my kitchen at home, and I keep a set at work as well. I always have coworkers asking to borrow some, and I go through bottles quick. so I’d say that’s a good indicator of a quality set of sauces. Seeing Dexter on the bottle got me to try it originally, but the flavor is what got me hooked. I can’t remember when I first found it, but I think I’ve been enjoying it for maybe close to 10 years now.

Maybe I’m a WIMP?!?
After reading all the great reviews of Dexter Holland’s hot sauces, and after seeing a 4-pack for only $14.00, I HAD to pull the trigger. FULL DISCLOSURE: Up til now I have been a devotee of another brand’s hot sauces, and I assumed that I had a good handle on hot stuff when I had very little problem with their fieriest offerings (some at 27,000 SHU rating and higher!). That said, I have only tried the Green sauce and the Spicy Yellow sauce out of my Gringo Bandito 4-pack and, tbh, I’m SCARED to try the Original sauce and especially the Extra Hot sauce! The flavor of the Green sauce was OUTSTANDING but, for supposedly being the mildest of the four, it had a fairly good zing to it. I wouldn’t hesitate to use that sauce on a variety of dishes and it will probably be the first bottle that I empty. Today I tried the Spicy Yellow sauce and it kicked me right in the lips. I have no clue what Scoville rating this sauce has but I understand that even their hottest sauce isn’t rated over 5,000( compared to the 27,000+ Scoville ratings on the other brand’s hotter flavors!).” This yellow sauce had me dripping from the forehead and wiping away tears immediately after the first bite! I’m not as crazy about the flavor of this one either, having something of a “burny” aftertaste. It’s not bad but on a flavor basis alone I like the Green sauce better. I will update this review soon as I HAVE to sample the other two sauces in order to give a fair and accurate review but for now I will have to wait until I stop twitching and sweating before I can do further experimentation.***UPDATE***Ok, I manned up, pulled up my big boy pants and dove in to the remaining two untried sauces in this pack ( Regular and Super Hot). Tried the Super Hot on a meat lovers breakfast bowl and, at first I thought they had mislabeled the bottle. I was gritting my teeth in anticipation of the immense burn but it didn’t happen. So I shook up the bottle real well( maybe all of that fire settled to the bottom, I told myself) and dumped a fairly significant amount on the food, guaranteeing that I had more than enough to do the job. Surprise, surprise…it just wasn’t THAT hot. I’m assuming that this works differently for different people but, for ME, the hottest “burn” I got from ANY of these came from the Spicy Yellow sauce (brutal!). Now, I have to say that while I didn’t get the heat I was anticipating from the Super Hot, I also can’t really tell you much about the flavor of it as it seemed to get lost in the flavors of the food I put it on. I CAN attest to the fact that it was in NO WAY an unpleasant flavor, just not very pronounced. Again, possibly just my taste buds. That said, I WAS impressed with the flavor of the Regular sauce! It didn’t seem very far removed from the flavor of the Super Hot but maybe it had more garlic (hard to tell). It was definitely a more potent flavor and, while the heat from the Super Hot hit me in the lips, the Regular went for the back of my throat. Again, not overly hot, just about perfect. So, all in all, one out of four that I may never use ( the Yellow sauce) and three WINNERS! I think Dexter’s got a great product here and you certainly can’t beat the price on this 4-pack!

The best underrated hot sauce you'll ever have
Do you like it hot but with tons of flavor? This is the hot sauce for you! This is the BEST hot sauce you'll ever try. All of them are amazing but the original is our favorite. We now buy the big bottles of the original but also the variety pack. We put it on everything. The flavor is amazing! It's not SUPER hot, but packs enough of a punch.

Very tasty
Very tasty sauce. Not overly hot, so if you’re wanting a “Hot Ones” scenario you may be disappointed. Overall, excellent sauces. Dexter can do no wrong!
