you get what you pay for
I build knives and use buffing pads similar to these for a variety of purposes. I bought these due to the size of the mandrel and the convenience of their size. The downside is the quality is poor and they won't last very long. Fact is one flew apart while I was using it and I only had the speed set at 200RPM. You can hurt yourself if you're not careful. I would strongly suggest gloves and a face shield I will probably revert back to the old supplier as the economics simply don't pan out with these.

They're very durable. You can rinse them off, then air dry them in the sun, and they're practically brand new.

Still haven't used them
Still haven't used them - they take up space in the cabinet for a year now. Every time a project would require them, I seem put off by lack if quality and find another solution...
