UPDATE:After contact with the manufacturer, they provided a replacement specifically designed for in-lb, and the indexing on the collar is now reliable and of better fit and finish. Some basic testing with the replacement suggests this is a pretty good torque wrench, and a great value.ORIGINAL:I have no idea how to set this. The collar is sloppy and loose, and the markings don't not correspond to anything identifiable.

I just use this infrequently for my bikes, and it has worked well. I don't have a precision tool that I can use to compare accuracy, but it was not too far off at least in the range I use it judging by feel. It's easy to use and conveniently has both imperial and metric scales. For my infrequent use this has been a great value, and perfectly met my needs.

I have been a professional mechanic/technician for 40+ years, and have purchased loads of tools over the years. I have to say that this torque wrench is a high quality tool. Remarkable finish, solid feel, and apparently very accurate (as far as the calibration certificate indicates). I haven't used the tool as of yet, as I just received yesterday. I'm sure it will perform as advertised.My two concerns are: I would have preferred knowing that the scaling marks are primarily N.m (not a deal breaker, but the Inch Pound scale is a bit hard to read, and adjusting collar is scaled to N.m only), and that this tool is advertised as Made in Taiwan, and yet it's only marking indicates it's made in China. Again, not a deal breaker, but I feel a bit deceptive. I don't like being mislead about these things.I will be trying it out next week when back at work, and will post a followup.

I really like the torque wrench , it’s small to get in right places . The green on it helps stand out and makes appear someone has taken the time to design a great product .

The media could not be loaded.  I was very happy when I came across the listing for this torque wrench on Amazon. As a woman who likes to work on cars I really had fallen in love with the appearance and the fact that it was not too masculine. I felt the green color was a nice touch. Unfortunately I had to order this item twice because the first one was too loose and I could barely tighten the lock bar that allows you to set the inch pounds before use. It was so loose that when trying to set it to zero when not in use, there was a huge gap about have an inch wide between the number table And where the top of the lock begins (photo attached) making it hard to lock onto its torque settings. so I decided to request a new one in exchange for this one via Amazon returns I just received the second one today. Can you believe that it was shipped to me uncalibrated? for those who are aware it is recommended that when a torque wrench is not in use to have the settings always set at the number zero to preserve the calibration. When I received the new torque wrench it was set off the 0 Calibration point and moreover... Shipped to me that way! Not happy! I haven't even had a chance to use the thing!

The accuracy on this torque wrench with spot-on works perfectly for the job I needed it for and many others that I'm going to use it for thank you again can't wait to buy the other sizes I need when they are on sale or a deal I will purchase again. thank you

It’s a very nice tool for the money. My only complaint is that inch pounds are impossible to figure accurately by the scale on the collar. The laser etching on the shaft does not line up with the collar etchings. I just convert inch pounds to Newton meters and use it in metric increments. Compared to my CDI (snap-on) wrench the torque values appear to be spot on!

I expect the lines to line up. Also as you turn the dial, you'd expect them to be the same all the way up. Nope, not on either scale. The numbers are also very hard to read. I'm going to compare with my other TW's. I'd move to another TW if I was you. 2 Stars because unit feels fairly solid.
