Temporary Fencing Kit - 100' x 60" - No tools required (non-electric) for Chickens

I'm impressed. I thought it was quick to set up. I used it enclose a bushy/weedy area along our woods and our chickens are enjoying the extra space. Our heeler puppies tried to run through it and became tangled up... so maybe it will deter other animals a bit as well? I may purchase another to expand their area again... my only hesitation is that I feel the cost is a bit high.

This is a great product. I read other negative reviews and cannot agree. I have had this portable fencing since May 2019. In the 10 months of use, we could not be more pleased. Very easy to set up and move about. It is made from nylon netting - has held up in the sun and snow. The only rips we had is from our dog. I cannot imagine how a chicken could make a tear. It must have been from some other animal with teeth or strong claws. We started it when we put our 6 week chicks outdoors in the portable baby coop. I simply rolled up the portion not being used. As the chicks got older, I could unroll another section so they could roam farther. Once in the regular coop, then I sealed off portions of the yard where I wanted them contained. And, it's been easy to move about as I have changed their pasture. Buying another one to add more roaming room - along a side fence but out of my flower garden. We have 6/10 of an acre, and they roam the back half. Couldn't be more pleased!

Use the tie out on each section. This prevents the net from sagging.

The fence is easy to set up and if you follow all the instructions it is sturdy without much sag in the netting. I threaded the poles through every hole in the net to give it more stability. I am using part of it in my barn for chicken coop area and the rest outside for a run area. I jerry rigged it by fastening the ends to the barn wall to form an L-shaped coop area. Works really well for the money. My chickens aren't using it yet so I don't know if they will be flying over the top or not!

We are very pleased with this fencing. Lay out your pattern, place posts as you go. We did not weave the fencing into the poles. We put the two prong in the ground on the bottom of the fencing then attached the top. Used one small zip tie to attach the middle so will be much easier to move later. I have purchased another fencing that is already attached to the pole but is more difficult to use as it tangles easily. I would though take 1/2 star do to the gate instructions being a bit difficult to understand but by golly, we did it!!

This fence was just what we needed to keep our chickens and ducks in their space. We had an issue with not everything being sent in the original package, however RentACoop was VERY quick to send us the missing parts and keep us first time customers very happy. Should the need arise for us to purchase additional fencing like this, we will buy again from RentACoop.

Not happy! Box came damaged with a hole in the box, missing the caps that go on the top of the poles.. this was something we were really excited to give our girls more room to roam!

I had originally thought this was an electric fence, it's not XD Despite that it still works to keep the hens in and has become a good fence to train some young goats to electric fencing in. I just set up a 4ft section inside and they have a good bit of room to avoid only coming into contact with the electric.
