As always, this is a quality wholemeal spelt flour. Good nutty flavour and strong enough for bread making but fine enough to use as cake or pastry flour. Arrived promptly, welk packaged with a long shelf life.

I have been using this flour for a couple of years so I feel well qualified to review itI use a bread-maker for all our bread because it tastes better - free from unwanted ingredients and always fresh.I use half Canadian White and half Mathews Stoneground Spelt to which I add a little ground seeds or nuts, I also exchange a little oat-milk with some of the water. Your recipe will dictate the amount of sugar and salt to use.The resulting loaf is tasty, nutritious, easier to digest and has a softish crust - well suited to our 80+ teeth and digestions.I found that buying the flour through Amazon Prime means that I can buy the amount that I want (5 bags as opposed to 10) and escape the need to pay postage on what used to be a heavy package.I can recommend this flour for both taste for and texture.

I use this flour for baking and pancakes but haven't made bread with it yet but I'm going to so I'm pleased with the flour, recommend it. So much poor quality flour out there but this is the best I've found in years. 👍. Tastes good too.

Easy to use up to 65% hydration and at 80/20 wheat to spelt.

I used half spelt and half ordinary wholemeal in my seeded soda bread and was very pleased.

I used it to make a sourdough starter and it behaved very well! This is a wholegrain spelt sourdough, made only by using wholegrain spelt flour and it tasted as delicious as it looks! Definitely recommend it!
