RockportWomen's Briah Gladiator Wedge Sandal

As someone with terrible arthritis, i rarely wear "heels". But we went on vacation and I wanted to dress up my look. These were perfect travel shoes, so comfortable and well made. They looked great with travel pants, dresses and even dressy shorts! With limited break in time, I wore these through 4 different airports, the airplane, and they were still perfect for dinner and those warm carribean events. I recommend even for those who fall at the thought of wearing "heels". These are remarkably stable, comfortable and don't dig or irritate your feet. They are also easy on and off, with both velcro strap at the top and a zippered heel. 100% highly recommend.

I order half size down, my foot measures 9 3/4 left and 9 7/8 right which puts me at 8.5 and that is the size I ordered for all sandals. Only 8 or 9 was available so I took a chance and ordered 8 and they are PERFECTION. I have wide feet so I did order 8W. There is still a little room in toe area to spare so if you're in between sizes might be worth ordering down rather than up. These shoes are SOOOO soft on the inside, I got blisters with my current favorite pair because of the material and these are incredible in comparison. Feel like silk on the inside. The adjustable velcro side strap with a piece of elastic on strap sides really ensures a perfect snug fit. I was worried about the heel height as I am 250lbs so balancing can be an act of it's own but these don't make me feel like I will fall over and I can walk perfectly in them (heel height is 2 7/8 but minus from height 5/8 it comes out to 2 1/4"). Beautiful shoe, will be ordering at least a couple more pairs, it's so hard for me to find shoes I love and I am IN LOVE with these.

Super comfortable! I purchased these shoes when they went on sale after reading a lot of the reviews. I was hesitant to believe a review about a lady hiking in these shoes when I bought them but I can attest to the fact that I have walked miles in these shoes on many types of terrain and my feet didn’t hurt at all! They are the perfect casual shoe to pair with shorts or toss on a cute dress and go dancing with your friends. I’m able to wear these shoes multiple days in a row and my feet don’t get tired. Only downside is because of how often I wear them and how rough I am on shoes they do have a tendency to start to break down. I have had to buy a replacement pair after just a few months of owning them but if they are treated more gently I’m sure they would hold up longer. Also try not to get them wet because they will start to smell like another reviewer stated.I would 1000% buy them again when they are on sale though!

**update** I exchanged these for a size 7 instead of the 7.5. The 7 was STILL way too long. I’m definitely not a size 6.5. Usually I’m a 7.5. I give up and are sending these back as well. Somewhat annoying to have to go through all the effort only have these incorrectly sized.These shoes are very cute, but run big. I wear a 7.5 and these were way too long on me. Going to have to exchange for a smaller size. That being said, it’s clear they put a lot of attention into making sure these are comfortable. The inside of the upper part is lined so it doesn’t rub anywhere. I was somewhat surprised that the leather is so thin though. I can see why some people may have had issues with them breaking. It’s almost like a skim of pleather over a soft material. We will see how they hold up long term. A bit over priced for what you get, but they are comfortable!

I am a teller at a credit union and I stand for up to 10 hours a day. I also need to look somewhat professional. I love heels and used to wear them all the time. But 20 years of working retail in puomps, has caused me to have hammer toe, which makes wearing most heels intolerable. I found that wedges are more comfortable up to a certain height. I wanted something more appropriate for the warmer months, but that still look professional. These are perfect. I was able to stand for a whole day, comfortably, right out of the box. The cushioned insoles are supportive and soft. They feel like pillows! The cork heel is fun and summery, but still professional looking. I wear them with both my jeans and work clothes. They aren't real leather or cork, but you honestly cant tell. The material is really good quality. I bought a size 10 wide, and they are a tad loose, but when my feet swell, I'm thankful for the room. They have a zippered heel, which makes them easy to get on and off. And they have a velcro strap, which is also great for days my feet swell. I will be buying a few more pairs because I find myself wearing them all the time, and would love a variety of colors!

I love Rockport (Cobb Hill). They are the standard for quality and comfort. I'm leaving a review for these so I don't forget and try to give them another chance in the future. I don't love the Gladiator style, but my other wedges are falling apart (they aren't Rockport) and I didn't want to go through the trial and error of trying other brands when I knew I couldn't lose with Rockport.Well, the heel squeezes. I'm not sure how, but it does. I tried to loosen the straps a bit but then my heel was flopping all over the place. I don't have fat feet, either.My arch is on the high side but nothing drastic. The arches in these just don't work for me. I felt like I was balancing on the ball of my foot and the heel isn't even that high.Sad to say these can't stay.More sandal and boot styles, Rockport! Roll out more to choose from and keep the quality bar high. Let me keep you as my staple.

These shoes are my favorite shoes to wear to work because there is extra cushion right where you need it to prevent discomfort. I love them and they go with almost everything for the spring/summer. They fit perfectly, width and all even though I tend to have difficulty finding dress shoes or sandles that fit... usually they are too wide. Love them!
