I would highly recommend this book and audio to anyone wanting guidance to ...
These Success Principals are the foundation principals that many of the successful motivational speakers use today, Tony Robbins, Bob Procter, Zig Ziegler, Jack Canfield, etc. and why do they use them? Because they work. It starts with a positive mental attitude and a profound belief that you are responsible for your life, you are what you think. Napoleon breaks it down into 17 simple steps to follow. I would highly recommend this book and audio to anyone wanting guidance to improve their life, spiritually, financially, in relationships, physically etc. Napoleon knew when he wrote this book it would help millions of people around the world, even people not yet born. I was one of those not yet born at the time of his writing. Think & Grow Rich is another great book that I would recommend. Napoleon's teachings have helped change my life and can change yours too.

Weirdest book
I got the distinct impression that Napoleon Hill did not wrote this book. It looks like some guy is using Napoleon's name and ideas to make money and push jewish agendas. I can't believe I'm the first to mention this. This book is a repackaged production of Hill's ideas. There's nothing new here. Just your typical kosher propaganda. Like the market isn't saturated enough already.

Your Answers to the Keys to Success in Life
"Keys to Success: The 17 Principles of Personal Achievement" by Napoleon Hill holds to the high standards he set with "Think and Grow Rich." Of the number of books written by Napoleon Hill and his immediate associates, I always discover new golden nuggets of insight into success living. This 231 page paperback book containing18 chapters is well designed, easy to read, and lends itself to the most effective use of a yellow highlighter. Ironically, I found only the first 14 chapters held my attention, then the next three chapters were rather redundant, closing with chapter 18 as a very well written summation of the key points of this book.I am convinced Napoleon Hill was a great genius of his day with his insights holding as true today as they were when he first wrote his book. This book is well worth your investment of time and money, adding to your personal library of self-improvement and personal development. This book receives a very high recommendation and falls short of five stars only because of the redundancy of three chapters toward the end of the book. Admittedly this may not be true for you at all. So, venture in and discover what you may not know or have forgotten. Either way it is well worth your time.

Regardless of who you are, if you're looking to better yourself in any aspect of the phrase, pick up this book and others
Read the other 5-star reviews, they will pretty much emulate my feelings. My girlfriend started on this "Laws of Attraction," "The Secret," "The New Thought Movement," "The Power of Positive Thinking" philosophy and mindset, and at first I felt skeptical. I try to take everything with a grain of salt, but the improvements on her life, whether can be logically explained or not, is 100% due to her new way of thinking. Motivational books and speakers only root those philosophies when the going gets tough (no one said anything about easy). Napolean Hill's "Think and Grow Rich" was a masterpiece, it only made sense to read his other successful books.

Truly inspirational. Builds upon "Think and Grow Rich".
There are thousands of self-help books out in the market and hundreds of self proclaimed "gurus" who have made a living by copying the wisdom in Napoleon Hill's books. As I went through some of those books I realized that there was not much in them that Hill had not already written about. I recommend quality over quantity. Instead of reading through many books, I recommend that you study the following works of Hill and internalize his wisdom:1. The Think and Grow Rich Action Pack (1937) - I recommend the Action Pack edition,2. Napoleon Hill's Keys to Success: The 17 Principles of Personal Achievement - this book,3. Your Right To Be Rich [Unabridged] - this consists of 12 hours of live lectures covering the 17 principles, that Hill conducted in Chicago in 1954.By internalizing, I mean studying in depth - analyzing the ideas, making notes and summaries. I own more CDs by Hill, but I believe that these 3 items make the perfect study plan on the Philosophy of Personal Achievement. This philosophy is the end product of two decades of research conducted by Napoleon Hill. His research started when Andrew Carnegie (the steel tycoon who was then the richest man on earth) gave him the assignment of organizing a Philosophy of Personal Achievement. Hill, who was a poor journalist, armed with just an introductory letter from Carnegie, set out to interview over five hundred successful people including Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, John D. Rockefeller, George Eastman, William Wrigley Jr. and Charles M. Schwab. Hill then revealed the priceless wisdom of his research in the form of the thirteen steps to success (in Think and Grow Rich) and the seventeen Principles of Personal Achievement (in courses and lectures he conducted). This particular book goes beyond the 13 steps in Think and Grow Rich. It covers the following 17 Principles of Personal Achievement (also known as the 17 Keys to Success):1. Develop a Definiteness of Purpose2. Establish a Mastermind Alliance3. Assemble an Attractive Personality4. Use Applied Faith5. Go the Extra Mile6. Create Personal Initiative7. Build a Positive Mental Attitude8. Control Your Enthusiasm9. Enforce Self-Discipline10. Think Accurately11. Control Your Attention12. Inspire Teamwork13. Learn from Adversity and Defeat14. Cultivate Creative Vision15. Maintain Sound Health16. Budget Your Time and Money17. Use Cosmic HabitforceThe concepts taught by Napoleon Hill transformed my life. Everything he wrote about or talked about is thought provoking. He was wise, humble and funny. His philosophy is universal; he did not mix it with religion. The riches he referred to were more than money, for the Philosophy of Personal Achievement can be applied to anything in life.Hill was well ahead of his time. "Think and Grow Rich" has a chapter dedicated to some of today's most important issues - Specialized Knowledge, Decision Making, Imagination and Organized Planning (in which he deals with Leadership). And his principles deal with Teamwork, Creative Vision, Health, etc.I am greatly indebted to Napoleon Hill. The purpose of my writing this is to spread awareness of his work so that more people can benefit from it. This, I believe is the best way in which Hill would have liked to have been repaid.

Napolean Hill? Of course its good!
"Each night I burn the records of the day; At sunrise every soul is born again" WOW! That was not written by Mr Hill, but he was smart enough to add it to his book. There is so much good stuff in this book I do not know where to start. Other reviewers here have written more on the contents of the book, read theirs to get an idea. All I can say is that if you read and understand this book, then follow what you have learned, there is no way you cannot succeed in life. This book is filled with wisdom. If you are struggling in your life or on the job and need help, the help you need is in this book. Good luck on your journey!

A "Bible" for Success
I was profoundly surprised to find this book being a guide to personal success for those who wish to succeed ethically. It is not a "get-rich-at-the-expense-of-others" kind of guidebook. In fact, it mentions greed as being one of the negative emotions.Unfortunately, the book's title, especially the spiel below it about the author having written "Think & Grow Rich", belies its high quality of content. An unfortunate thing about the author's life work is his ignorance about his own Western world's capitalist nature and use of money (- which should be, but is not entirely a mechanism of exchange for goods and services only). He is not alone in this ignorance, as is evident by the booms & busts brought about by the private banks' fractional reserve system of producing money and trading therein: He, amongst many others, supported the government of his time (in the Great Depression last century) in supporting the banks as they have recently been supported this century. However, the book is not just for people who want to get rich; it is for anyone who wants to do any thing successfully as well as ethically. The chapters in the book are -- Develop Definiteness of Purpose- Establish a Mastermind Alliance- Assemble an Attractive Personality- Use Applied Faith- Go the Extra Mile- Create Personal Initiative- Build a Positive Mental Attitude- Control Your Enthusiasm- Enforce Self-Discipline- Think Accurately- Control Your Attention- Inspire Teamwork- Learn from Adversity & Defeat- Cultivate Creative Vision- Maintain Sound Health- Budget Your Time & Money- Use Cosmic Habitforce- The 17 Principles of Success (Review)Included on a 2-CD set (ISBN: 1905453221) titled "The Science of Personal Achievement" (claiming to explain the 17 keys to success, but including only parts of the book's content) is the author's prayer that is worth mentioning here, and which confirms his attitude as not being one of just getting rich:"Oh, Infinite Intelligence,I ask not for more riches,But for more WisdomWith which to make better useOf the Blessings with whichI was endowed at birth,Through the Privilege of embracingMy own mind and directing itTo ends of my own choice."This is a book one can read many times over in one's life: Napoleon Hill's life work was an outcome of such infinite intelligence.___________________________________

A practical guide to success
This is something you will read and say, "sure, that seems obvious." That's the hallmark of genius. For those who don't know, the idea for Hill's study was conceived by Andrew Carnegie - the world's first billionaire. Napoleon Hill took the initiative to devote his life to studying hundreds of America's most successful rags to riches stories to create the first practical philosophy of success.I can't stress how practical it is. It's hard to not see a significant improvement in your successes by following the guide.
