This is my go-to cleaner for all of my woodworking tools and machines.

The media could not be loaded. I've been using Trend tool and bit cleaner for at least four years for all of the cutting edges in my shop. I think I'm on my third bottle since 2020 or so. I really love this cleaner and it makes such a huge difference having clean cutters on all your machines.I initially bought it to clean table saw blades, and it works great for that. I have a silicone baking mat that I put down on my bench. I spray the blade on one side, flip it over, spray the other side and let it sit for maybe 2 or 3 minutes. From there, I use an old tooth brush to scrub off the resin with little effort. I attached a short video where you can see how well it cleans my sawblade with only about ten seconds soak time--it still gets most of the residue. Finally I just pat dry with a paper towel and I'm good to go. No need to waste the product rinsing the blade afterwards, and no need to be scrupulous about getting all of the product off of the blade before using it. It acts as a lubricant and rust inhibitor, so just pat dry and get back to work. I clean my blades every day that I use them, and it pays off--if you think your blades are dull or if you're burning the wood--90% of the time they are still sharp but just dirty, and cleaning them makes a night and day difference.Since then, I've started using this product to clean router bits, carbide bandsaw blades, jointer knives--I even spray down the helical head on my 15" planer and scrub it down from time to time. It also works great on those expensive sanding belts, especially if you have a bunch of buildup from resinous tropical hardwoods. When you spray it on, you can see the resin absorb the cleaner and come loose. Then I wipe it off, and follow that with a regular rubber belt cleaner. For really bad buildup you can spray the cleaner on liberally and wrap the belt in clingfilm or a garbage bag and let it sit for a while. For things like router bits I spray them down and wrap them in clingfilm, put them in a shot glass and come back 10 minutes later to scrub with a toothbrush. When routing really hard resinous woods I'll even spray router bits after a pass or two to clean them right on the router. You can also use this stuff to clean gunk off of hand plane irons, drill bits--you name it. Another trick is to take your cleaning cloth or paper towel after you've cleaned one tool and use the residual cleaner to wipe off your chisels, drill bits, whatever. It acts as a rust inhibitor as well, so it's great for that.Last but not least, this stuff is a mild lubricant--you can actually leave a bit of residue on a table saw blade or router bit and it can give you an advantage against burning. You don't want the cutter to feel wet to the touch, it should just feel a little slick. Some folks will also use this as a honing fluid when sharpening chisels / planes, etc., though I just use soapy water myself and wouldn't waste this stuff for that, but some people don't like to use water when they are honing, and this stuff would work great, and avoid rust.So I definitely love and recommend this stuff. A little goes a long way, and a bottle will last you a while.

Works great on removing fresh organic sap and resins

I just used this on a new cordless hedge trimmer. The sap and organic goo just melted off. Granted that the sap was fresh, but with a small toothbrush and a rag, I had the blades clean in a few minutes.

Works as Advertised

I have often heard that keeping the buildup of residue on tools to a minimum would make them work better. It makes sense, but I am lazy. After buying more expensive blades, I figured I would give this cleaner a try. It cleaned up my table saw blades nicely and the cut of the blades is cleaner and faster. I also cleaned up yard tools with it and it worked well. It's worth the price, but I have not tried other products to know if the value is better than just soap and water.

Works better than expected

This was recommended to me for my bandsaw blade that was all gummed up with pine sap, let me tell you it worked great! you also don't need much to clean it, so it will last a long time! 11/10 I would recommend this product to anyone looking to clean a blade.

Cleaned off the pine from my table saw blade

I cut a lot of pine and use this to clean the saw blades. I soaked my table saw blade overnight and it was easy to wipe the gunk off. There is a blade cleaning tool on Amazon that I may purchase. You just put the blade in along with some of this cleaner, give it a turn or two on each side and your blade is clean and ready to use again.I suggest using it almost as often as you use the blade to keep the gunk from accumulating.

OMG This product is great!

I wish I had done before and after pictures. Several years ago I picked up an oscillating spindle sander. Some of the sanding sleeves were in bad shape. After my latest project my 4" sleeve had thick layer of gum on it. It had gotten so bad it had stopped working completely. So I flipped it and used it until it wouldn't sand any more because of the thick buildup. My rubber abrasive cleaner nor a wire brush made any worthwhile improvement. At $20 a sleeve I bought this product to see what it would do. The sleeve was garbage at this point. I used the spray and my wire brush and OMG big time results. Its been a few days and of non use and I don't see any delaminating and the sleeve is sanding like new. Great product at a great price

Cleaned Year Old Melted Baseboard Off Mitre Saw Blade

I bought this with the intention of immediately cleaning the melted baseboard off of my mitre saw blade, but I was lazy, and here we are, more than a year later.I took the blade off my mitre saw and put it on top of some cardboard. I sprayed each side enough to soak it and repeated a few times. Afterwards, I went at it with a $4 brass brush and voila, all of that year old baseboard gunk started to come off. I had to put in some elbow grease since it was baked in, but if you clean your tools right away (do this), I'm sure you'll have to put less effort into it.I also like that it's non-toxic, so you don't have to worry about it getting on your skin. Great product, 5/5!
