Minnie's Diner: A Multiplying Menu

While I was visiting my granddaughters we went to the library and this is one that they checked out. They wanted me to read it over and over! There mom and I read with much enthusiasm raising and lowering our voice. It's hard to describe but the girls loved it! We read it so much that they could tell most of the story looking at the pictures mimicking the way we read! It was hilarious and so sweet! I highly recommend this book! My two older ones were 3 and 5. I am buying this book to send to them because they loved it so much and because I get such enjoyment watching and listening to them. Thank you for this book Ms. Dobbs!

Fun book and a great learning tool.

Great story to demonstrate multiplication and doubling. My 3rd graders loved this title, as well as several of the other math tales I purchased this year. This one was a favorite of mine because it was easily read with a Southern accent, kicking the fun-o-meter up a big notch. Highly recommend!

Good story to use in the classroom or the home to teach the concept of multiplication. I got it for my 3rd grade class, but it was way too easy. I would suggest it for Kinder or first.

Another great resource for Daily 5 Math and addition to my collection of math books. Students love this book and are reading during math!

Can't say my children have grasped the multiplication concept from this but they love the story and I enjoy reading it to them.
