If you are a guy like me who still likes to write checks and need a wallet for checks look no further. This is a great wallet and does not bend when it is in your back packet. You plenty of slots to keep your credit cards, debit cards, and Driver's license. Also as room to keep register and a zipper for your cash. All in all great wallet and well made

This is a great checkbook cover and holds a ton of cards, a pen, a register, change in a zippered pouch, and money. This could easily replace a wallet if you are one who carries their checkbook around all of the time. It is real leather, as stated, and very well-constructed. You do need a pen with a clip on it preferably.

There are many derogatory reviews here. I was curious and decide to buy this "so-called" tainted product for myself. You get a review from as reliable reportaste possible. The stitching is perfect and firm. I do not know what other reviewers are talking about. The leather is thin but functional. I've had it for a week and no scratches. You need thin leather to keep it from being bulky and the check writing area is reinforced and stiffened. I keep the unit in my shirt pocket. After all it is not a heavy wallet. Paper money goes nicely behind the credit card section. The zipper section, which I do not use works well.I have no problem accessing the credit cards adjacent to each other. The clear window shows my ID picture and information but could be larger. The middle section is an enigma to me. The horizontal pocket will not take paper money. And the deep horizontal pocket is built to take something like a comb. Before I go into the negatives, let me digress in that it true upon arrival the checkbook did not lay flat but open to four inches on reviewer stated. Placing three rubber bands on the ends and middle overnight reduced it permanently to 3/4 of an inch and it lies completely flat in my shirt pocket.The reviewers are absolutely correct in that the fold is completely wrong. Why doesn't the manufacturer product test their items? However, I was able to completely get around that by looping the back of my check insert posteriorly. On the horizon plane there is more than enough room to insert standard size checks also with plenty of depth in the pocket so I do not know what the reviewers are complaining about and having a need to cut a piece off of the checks to fit.There is something suspicious about the same words appearing over and over in different posts.. I suspect a smear campaign is going on perhaps by a competitor.Overall, the price is right. The product is very utilitarian and I am pleased with it.

The value and style are great.

This wallet is constructed of leather, cardboard, some sort of synthetic padding between, and a lining. The cardboard which gives rigidity to the wallet is thicker than the leather covering it. The 100% genuine leather is about the thickness of a sheet of paper. I usually buy those products which are closest to my preferences; then after purchasing them, I make modifications to get as close as possible to my own ideal. Once I went to work on this piece to remove the zipper pocket, I came to realize that this was not worth my time. The materials are so cheap, I think it best to simply throw it away and buy another wallet. I did not want a super thick leather wallet. I wanted a rather thin wallet actually. If the genuine cardboard and genuine synthetic padding were also leather, this wallet would have three times the leather, while still being moderately thin, and it would be what it appears to be. Cheap is not good; good is not cheap. This wallet is not what it is marketed as. I will not purchase anything from Marshall again.

If you have a checkbook then you'll obviously need a checkbook cover, but is this the one for you? Maybe...I don't really carry a checkbook around with me so my checkbook is mainly for at home bill paying, but I got the Marshal "Genuine leather checkbook cover wallet organizer with card holder" to keep things together and organized.First impression: At a glance it looks nice, feels nice, and smells like real leather.Everything is great until you begin filling it with your items.▪The first thing I noticed is an issue with the ID window. It's too small and if you place your drivers license or ID in picture last the leather bezel surrounding the clear plastic covers up more than half of your face so I turned mine picture first and it looks alright, but not all of the information is visible.▪If you put a card in each card slot it becomes almost impossible to get them back out. I honestly thought I was going to have to get my needle nose pliers there for a minute. To help with this I only have one card in every other slot and that works a lot better.▪Some reviewers have mentioned that the pocket that you slide the cardboard baking of your checks in is too small. This is incorrect. There are two pockets back there and one is slightly smaller than the other.▪The middle flap is unnecessary and adds bulk. If you actually put anything in the flap the checkbook would never close. Laying flat on a table it remains open about 4" and it's about an inch if you squeeze it closed. I am aware that this will improve with use.Quality control issues: Upon close inspection you can see some problems with the quality and I included photos to show what I'm talking about.All-in-all it'll do what I need it to do.Hope you found this review helpful.Regards,Ryan

The leather is very soft! The middle insert is removable so you can chose to have your checkbook quickly removed. Card slots hold your cards very snuggly so you dont have to worry about them falling out. Has a great zipper pocket for change or for anything else you need it for. Great design. Only flaw that it has it that if you out you checkbook it in, it doesn't close all the way, but I over look that because the rest of it is wonderful!
