I love Turkish towels for their lightweight, quick drying, packability. They are perfect to throw in a beach bag or backpack for any adventure. They don’t cling on to sand and are thin enough to be used as a coverup. I own several, some from Amazon, some from boutiques, and some from farmers markets. After trying several different brands I’ll tell you what, NOT ALL TURKISH TOWELS ARE CREATED EQUAL. These Holm ones are my new favorite and here’s why:GORGEOUSFirst off, they are beautiful! I got the “Hexagon Navy.” It’s a lighter Navy, and so lovely. The colors offered on this line are classier than some other towels I have.SOFTWhile all my Turkish towels are durable and packable, these are still soft and very comfortable. (And they get softer with washing!) Others I’ve gotten from Amazon were kinda rough. And another brand I got was very soft but would leave little soft fuzzies on me the first few uses. These are great right from the start!PRICEAt $16.95 these are a steal! I’ve spent much more on other Turkish towels and honestly like this one best.Also, a few more things to know about Turkish towels.1- They are different! Don’t expect the same feeling as a big fluffy terry cloth towel. Not better/worse just different! (I still prefer terry towels as my bath towels but much prefer Turkish towels for everything else, beach, camping, coverup, home decor)2- Turkish towels occasionally can snag if they get caught on something but it’s an easy fix. Just simply snip the loose thread and it’s good as new! It won’t come undone.3- After a wash, it’s rare but occasionally a fringe comes undone. Also, easy to remedy. Just separate the threads into two sections. Twist each in a clockwise motion then twist both sections together counter-clockwise and tie the knot off at the end.Holm makes another Turkish style towel (also from Amazon) that is a bit heavier weave if that’s what you prefer. It’s the “black diamond” one seen in my photo. I’ve also included a standard size mason jar for reference of how small they can pack up.

This was a gift I would never have bought for myself, but an so happy with it that I got some for daughter at the beach. I see "towel" and I think terry cloth, but these are not like that at all. You LIE on them in the sun at the beach! They don't leave those little marks on your skin, don't pick up sand, but protect you well from the sand. Very sturdily made soft, and take up little packing room. They dry quickly. I am extra sensitive to polyester but these are all cotton, so no problem. Pretty, with a reverse design on the back. I am one happy beachcomber!

The colors are so pretty together and I love that the towel dries incredibly fast, it’s lightweight and can easily be packed and stored. I actually have it draped over my sofa right now and it looks really great.

We got this to use for travel purposes, both for a towel and something to sit on for the kiddos. It is perfect! It is lightweight so it is easy to pack and fits easily into our suitcase. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who is limited on space but still wants a quality towel.

This is a beautiful towel, very lightweight, perfect for taking on a boat or beach trip, folded neatly into a bag. But I hadn’t used one of these Turkish towels until I bought this one, and I was surprised to learn it’s not so good for drying off when you’re soaked. Feels a bit like drying off with your clothes. Not very absorbent. But excellent to lie on or put things on when you’re at the beach.

Thia was the second Turkish cotton towel I purchased. I was disappointed with the texture of this towel. It does not measure up to the softness of my previous towel. Turkish cotton towels are supposed to become softer with use and washing. However, I've washed it four times and used it many more times than that and it's still not soft. It is absorbent and lightweight, but it is not my go to towel/throw.

Love the colors and the towel is really well made! It's definitely more of a beach, pool, or picnic towel than a bath towel. It's not fluffy, but I love that it dries fast, especially because I live in a humid area where most of my towels get mildew-y after one use. Great buy- I highly recommend!

I bought this as a lightweight towel to bring to the pool. It is compact when folded but opens up very large. Sadly I am returning it because the fabric has a sheen to it and the pink is more pastel-y bubblegum then the picture made it look. I thought it would be more of a muted pink, and the way it’s woven creates a sheen that tells me it won’t be very good at drying me off.
