Jabra100-43100000-60 Speak 510 MS Wireless Bluetooth Speaker for Softphone and Mobile Phone

So I've had this for about 3 months now and I have to say what a bloody awesome job Jabra have done. This device definitely continues to maintain their reputation for well designed and manufactured products.Aesthetically: this is a great little unit: nice and compact with minimal and very clear symbols that are self-explanatory as to their function. And the touch-sensitive symbols work really well - Jabra have managed to get the perfect balance of not requiring too much pressure but needing more than a fly or accidental brush so there's very little chance of accidentally killing a call mid-conference.Usability: I use this with a Windows Surface Pro (mach 1), Nokia Lumia 930 mobile phone and an iPad Mini 3. Pairing is as simple as it should be. - once that is done, life gets even more simple: just turn it on and within seconds it's connected with a clear voice confirmation that removes any doubt. Similarly when you power off there's a voice confirmation of "disconnected."The little pouch that it comes with is handy. I chuck the speaker in my bag and it gets lugged around from customer site to customer site, often with a loving lob onto the car's back seat or boot. While the pouch is starting to fade through wear, it does a good job of stopping the speaker from get scratched :)Battery life hasn't been a problem. I haven't actually measured it because ... well, I haven't needed to! I probably only use this for about 6 hours / week and generally remember my ABCs (Always Be Charging). The longest I've used it for a conference call would be an hour and a half and the longest time in between uses would be about 3 weeks (over Christmas / New Year break) and the battery didn't lose its charge.Something that I hadn't picked up on in the marketing bumf is that when plugged in via USB to my Windows Surface Pro, it still works with my mobile via Bluetooth. From the product info I thought that plugging in via USB over-rode / disengaged the Bluetooth so this is a pleasant surprise.All up - I'm really impressed with this. Would I use it for beach or social use? Probably not - but for this contract project manager who needs simplicity, reliability, good sound quality and solid build quality, this is handsdown a winner.And no - I have no affiliation whatsoever with Jabra or any other tech manufacturer so this is a completely unbiased review.

Pros:It flawlessly pairs with your phone (in my case iphone 7)It also works well with Microsoft Lync / Skype for Business.The speaker will comfortably fill a large (14 person conference room), or can be turned down to a whisper quiet level. At all volume levels it sounds amazing.People on the other end of my calls report that it sounds like i'm in their room, crisp and clear. It doesn't give a tunnel effectThe devise is simple to use and intuitive.Regarding the 15 hour battery life, I've only needed to use it for at most 9 hours straight and it still reported more than 50% battery remaining. I think the 15 hour estimate is based on full volume.It also sounds great playing music. I'm not an audiophile so your milage may vary.Cons: (first world problems)All the buttons are capacitive touch areas around the bezel. I would rather have the mute button in the center of the speaker because it is by far the most frequently used. If it were in the center, I would have less hunt/peck for it.The buttons are at the same level as a keyboard, and I occasionally accidentally hang up while using this directly next to my computer. So I have to remember to move it away.The microphone opening is under the power button, so if you point this at you and want to press the mute button you need reach all the way over to the far side where the mute button is.Bottomline:This is a great product and I would buy this again.

I have been looking for a Bluetooth enabled, long battery life, CLEAR speakerphone to work with my LYNC, SKYPE and SmartPhone. This little gem rocks! The built-in USB cable is for charging and cleverly wraps around a hollow space in the base so it is hidden while in use/charging. The charge lasts forever. There is a battery indicator as part of the controls. You can answer, hangup, check battery status, increase/decrease volume, mute and finally there is a Bluetooth indicator on the top of this amazing speakerphone.My Windows 8.1 machine recognized the Bluetooth device. Then after the initial install, I simply turn it on and BINGO it is my default speaker/microphone. I do many mini videos and a good microphone is essential. This built-in mic is crisp and amplified. My short videos are always received with clear audio.Finally an application that I use it for while on the road. Often I have conference calls with customers that don't have one of those fancy conference room speakerphones. No problem. I whip out the JABRA 510 and the entire room can hear and when somebody at the end of the table speaks, he/she can be heard. It works well and the customer appreciates that I am prepared.Buy this product with confidence. Trust me a tecno road warrior with lots of Bluetooth audio device experience.
