They don’t taste like vomit
Kids have been taking this for a couple of days now, so I can’t say it helps yet. But addressing the flavor. They don’t taste like vomit. They have a tart and fruity flavor. My kids eat them just fine. They like them. Slightly bitter aftertaste but that’s to be expected, it’s a supplement. But definitely doesn’t taste rancid or anything.

Product works taste isn't the greatest
Product works. The kids take it with their multivitamin gummies to offset the taste. I have tasted them too. They don't taste that great. But they help tremendously with allergies

Do not buy!
The taste is so bad that my 7 year old will not even take them. There are so many great ingredients in these tablets, I greatly wish they would spend some more time on the taste, especially considering they are for children.

Good substitute
Daughter needed a histamine and these were perfect she said the taste was “silly” but it’s more of a sweet tart taste

Yuck.
Taste is reminiscent of vomit. I felt bad for feeding them to my 3 year old but didn’t say anything. She took them with her other vitamins for a while, then started leaving them on the counter. I guess she’s also figured out they are gross… had to trash the rest, and go back to buying d-hist jr from now on.

Awful flavor
I previously enjoyed another brand with the same main ingredients, so when I discovered this product costs quite a bit less it seemed like an ideal switch. Not worth the price break...these have an extremely unpleasant, sharp, bitter taste. I will be paying more not to cringe. (only took off one star, since I assume the product works just as well and *someone* must like these sour things to have put them on the market)

Great Product
Normally I buy Ortho Molecular’s DHist Jr, but was in a pinch and didn’t have time to order from Fullscript. These work great (and we are currently having heavy pollen season here in FL) and only cost a couple bucks more. I’m pretty sure the flavor is related to the bromelain, the DHist ones taste almost exactly the same… sort of a tart flavor. It really isn’t as bad as some of these reviews are making out to be. Unfortunately not every supplement is going to taste great.

Ingredients don't match listing!
These are actually really effective and we use them because our daughter has PANS and histamine intolerance. BUT, they recently (April 2025) sent a newly designed bottle and when I opened it I could tell immediately they were different. Sure enough, the new formula has new ingredients listed even though the Amazon listing has not updated those ingredients! The new formula is even nastier in taste, bigger, and contains citric acid! If you know anything about how citric acid is made, you know you don't want it in a histamine blocking supplement! They also added silicone dioxide. Ugh. Why the change?? Boo.
