Tough 1 Nylon Horn Bag

Slightly disappointed
After my first day trail riding (8 hours, it didn’t rub against horse or saddle), my corners are fraying and some stitches are loose. Super disappointed, as I’m a big fan of the brand. These simply did not stand up to one days wear well at all. If it was a whole trail season, multiple rides over a span of time (with washing in between to break down sweat and dirt buildup) I’d understand, but this was a photo from the first evening coming back.

NOT insulated but still a nice bag.
I took off 3 stars on this review for outright lying. This bag is not fully insulated. It even claims on the label that it has two 8"×8"×3" deep insulated pockets when in fact only the two small front pockets are insulated. It even says that it's fully insulated to keep drinks and snacks cold. You could not fit any drink besides maybe a juice box in the front pockets so that's a total lie. That being said, I don't need it to be insulated and other than that it's a perfectly sized bag for what I need and looks to be well made.

Not very durable
This bag is great as long as it holds and I already had two of them in the hopes that the second one would last longer. But after only a few months the seams start to come apart and you'll have huge holes in the saddle bag. Also the material is lined with some plastic on the inside that starts cracking very quickly and so the material becomes super thin and then you'll get even more holes in the middle of the bag.I had other bags made out of nylon that were a lot thicker and sturdier and I'll purchase one of those the next time.

Roomy, hangs properly on the horn
I've been using this horn bag for a couple of weeks now. I like the size and overall design and the bright blue is easy to spot.It carries 4 bottles of water or smaller Gatorade bottles, a snack for me and a snack for my stallion, my phone, keys and a small first aid kit. Everything fits and is easy to access without dismounting first.I like the drape of the bag once it's full and in place. It stays within the saddle pad edges and isn't rubbing my horse anywhere. I can get on and off without banging in it because it doesn't rise above the horn. My only complaint thus far is a spot of seam stitches that are trying to come apart. Hopefully, this bag will survive a 4 day overnight ride next week.

Poor Quality
I had rode horses with friends labor day. I noticed that some of the people I was riding with had a horn bag. I thought this was a great idea to keep my cell phone in so that I could easily access it to take pictures while trail riding. I come home and started looking for a bag. The bag arrived in good condition. I was really excited to use this bag on a trail ride. I had planned to spend all day in the mountains riding with my husband. I placed my cell phone and a small snack in this bag. While zipping the bag, the zipper broke. I had not even placed the bag on my saddle at this point. The bag appears cheaply made, and the quality is less than desired. I used the bag anyway that day because it was all that I had, but I will be looking for something that is better quality and will last longer than packing it for its first use.

Good size for what I need
Perfect size and pockets for what I wanted: phone, keys, hand cleanser, snack bar, riding gloves, hoofpick, general tool: the usual trail ride accroutrements! Ranch friend got the same product, the same week, and loves his, too. I've not had this too long, but my only complaint is that one of the back things for attaching to my saddle just disintegrated. Not sure how, there'd been no pressure on it, other than the jostling of trotting and running, but I found it shredded yesterday and almost lost my clip <sigh>. Will fix, but now hope the other side doesn't disintegrate, too.

I bought this one for my husband, and he loves it. It works great for all the electronic gadgets he takes on the trails, plus holds his water bottles fine. I bough the same exact horn bag earlier from a seller on eBay. The only difference was mine was tan and brown. About the third time I put the bags on my horse, with two pop cans in each side, my horse shook while tied to the trailer, and both bags flew off and hit the ground, leaving the connecting piece on the horn. Apparently the stitching was defective. We checked the stitching on this one, and it's fine. In the end, all turned out great. I have a nice set of tooled leather saddle bags, and I simply put my drinks and whatever in each of the now single horn bags, and place one in each of my saddle bags. So all is well that ends well.

Would buy from this company again
This product was made durably but we had a problem receiving the color that we wanted during the holidays. The company was absolutely amazing and worked with us giving us a full refund so I highly recommend this company and product.

Great buy
Good quality and good pocket space. Can fit enough snacks and water for a decent trail ride. I would only change the way the zipper is accessible.

Poor stitching
I own the back saddle bags and have had no issues with them. Used the horn bag three times and the stitching came right loose in the middle of the third ride! Not impressed with the lack of durability.
