Great price. Tech support never answers and does not call back. First unit had two cameras fail in 8 months and they were replaced by the warranty I purchased. 9 months later 2 more cameras failed and I sen them in and they also replaced them. However the new cameras sent will not work with the unit I have. I said fine send me a new unit and was told I had exceeded the warranty already with the 2 new cameras. So I figured I would buy a new unit and have 2 extra cameras says it says it will handle 8. After 6 hours of trying, calling tech support for a week and getting no answer or response I decided to just use the 4 cameras. Now 6 weeks into the new system I have a camera failure. I am DONE

This system set itself up basically. I’m not a Techie type person but am somewhat mechanical minded. I absolutely love this system. Video is very clear but do not attach camera to a white vinyl siding wall. It has a glare and you can’t see anything but the white siding. Don’t place the camera looking out a window. It causes a glare and all you get is a video of the camera. I can’t comment on the Tech Support or Motion Detection system yet as I haven’t called Tech Support and I’m still trying to figure out where to put my email and receive Motion Detection emails. I’m pleased with the system and will look into buying 4 additional cameras and a hard drive back up.

This systems alert/ motion detection can not distinguish between grass motion detection and vehicle motion.in your driveway. All other features seem to work as advertised. If you want this system to only send alerts if people or vehicles are seen don't buy it.
