Deep sesame flavor. Wonderful texture. Yes the oil separated out a bit, but it was delivered on a a very hot day, and I’d rather a natural product instead of one that is artificially stabilized.Used it in some halva pastry I made and it was perfection!

This is the finest Halva I've ever had. I've been eating Halva here and there for 50 years. It's got a delicate, but prominent flavor. It's moist, but not too much so. There is cracked pistachios in it, but not too many.

I must admit I was hoping for some delicious sweet here but to my disappointment it is not worth it. This one is too crumbly, sweet and has sweet after taste instead of sesame one. There is way too much sugar and at the end you don't even taste sesame at all. If you are looking for real halva this one is NOT. Maybe for someone who likes sugar a lot this would be ok.

Not the halvah I grew up eating & enjoying, but a different twist on a favorite sesame sweet. I find the container it comes in, a little tricky to open at first, & hard to resist eating what seems like a small amount in a small container, but delicious just the same..So is too, the pistachio nut variety. One tasted, you’ll be hooked, but at $10+ a pop, on the expensive side. but not something you would eat very often, so taste wins over the price.

I can't buy this product locally, and the estimated shipping time was three days, so I thought it would be okay. Then it kept slipping, and this is a food product with a significant amount of fat in it. Much better to ship in cooler weather, and the date kept slipping until it was past the time I was leaving town for a week. Which then added to the time without refrigeration. The PRODUCT is excellent. However, do take care when you order it to be shipped. My package arrived somewhat greasy, which isn't so appealing, and therefore I can't recommend it as giftable. After firming up in the fridge, it was fine. But the anxiety I felt was not something I want to do again.

This is nothing like the Halvah I had a kid in Philadelphia. The texture is slightly gritty as you'd expect, but not in a bad way. The mouth feel is really nice and adds to the experience. I was worried that it's chocolate flavor because I love plain Halvah. But the chocolate was not overpowering at all; in fact, I had a hard time telling that it had chocolate in it - that's a good thing. If I wasn't worried about gaining 50 lbs, I'd put this on a subscription! We're going to try the pistachio next. Such a good product.

The halvah is excellent and I recommend it. Be aware some oil separates out.
