For anyone that own a C6 Corvette and is in need of a stock fan controller, this product does the job very well. However, there are a lot of people that use this fan controller in custom applications. Any aftermarket EFI system that is able to send a PWM signal can use this fan controller to allow the fan to operate at variable speed based on the temperature of the engine. This is how the C6 Corvette works and it can work for others.I use a Holley Dominator EFI system and use this fan controller so that my cooling fan operates at low speeds when the engine is barely above acceptable range and then the fan speeds up as temperature rises. This makes for a fan that is quiet as opposed to simply being turned ON/OFF.If anyone wants to use this fan controller in a custom application, you will need to have the proper connector and terminals to complete the wiring. I have a 2008 corvette z51 coupe. The dreaded fan connector melted, so I spliced in a new connector and then my fan would no longer stay on high. The fan would cycle high/low/high/low even when it should be at 90% (tested by removing coolant temp sensor to command full power on fan). I bought this and it instantly fixed it. I guess when the fan connector initially melted, it shorted out the fan module. This part was replaced 2x at the dealership by the previous owner (only 30k miles on car) so I will come back and update if it goes bad again.

It was exactly like the one I replaced it with, made in the same country (Hungary) but it just stopped working after 9 days. I did however just purchased this car a couple months ago and have no idea when this part was last replaced... Hey, I'll give it one more shot cause it's not costing me anything....Well actually it is cause my Vette is my daily driver so I hope it gets to me fast...... And if it doesn't make it at least a year, i'll ask Amazon to refund me cause from what I've read in many of the reviews, something is a miss with product..

Worked perfect in my 2009 Corvette Z06 one bolt remove the old one install a new plug it in good to go fan is working as should
