Awesome value in the 600w or 850w
have used these in a back up gaming pc build for my son and daughter and they are fantastic value In a 600w units!!!I also a 850 gold for my RC battery charger. My charger when I'm charging my 2-3s 5000mah packs in parallel 6 batteries per channel on both channels so 12x 3s 5000 mah lipo packs I'm charinging at 70 amps. My Icharger 406 duo is capable of 40 amps per channel and 70 amps if running both channels. So it's pushing out 840watts during the charge cycles and it handles it with no issues what so ever. No thermal issues when demanding 840 watts from it contentious and voltage stays locked in.The 850w gold I've had for seems about 2 years now and it's used to charge pretty much every single day. Some times it's 12x 5000mah packs parallel charged one set after the next when my kids and I are flying and or driving rc cars, boats, planes.. my icharger 406 duo and this power supply do very well together for rapid charging of the 2-3 cell lipo packs from 2200mah to 5000mah. For me being as close to the wattage as I am, pulling 840 constant @70 amps out of a 850w unit I fully expected to have some thermal issues and figured ide just charge at 60amps if it's having trouble delivering the 70a constant. But shockingly it handles 840w constant and has for two years or more without issues. Now I will say when the charger is in constant current part of the charging and it's putting out 70 amps of charge current the unit will get pretty dang warm but nothing to serious, at room temperature of 72F during a 70 Amp charge on 5000mah packs to where it's sustaining 840 watts of demand it will get up to maybe 110F but with a external fan blowing on it the temps will stay in the 95-100F range. For the 50 bucks I paid for the 850 gold it's been a mega good value for my needs. Reliable, quiet, smooth current delivery, very consistent voltage under high load... it's just been a dang good power supply as have both the 600w units in the back up gaming PC builds for my son and daughter.I never would have thought that the 850 watt gold would have been able to sustain 12v/70amp demand consistently as it's to close to its max wattage, I totally expected that I would have to back the current down to 60a so that would be around 720 watts for it to not have thermal issues with the power demands. It has done it for 2 years or more now and never skips a beat!If you have a computer build that needs a 850w supply I would absolutely say the 850w gold would do you a fantastic and reliable job! Computers put no where near the constant load on a unit as a high power lipo battery charger and it handles it without issue so I have no doubt it would do the same in a high demand PC build.I'm sure there are better built units out there, I'm sure there are units that deliver slightly cleaner power but at the price I don't think any other unit comes close to these. Buy one and you won't regret it, they are rock solid values and high performance units.

Well made psu for the price
It's a great, cheap, psu that gets the job done. I've had this for about a year by now and it's still running like a charm in my budget build. It runs silent, as far as I could tell anyway, and was as easy to install as any other power supply would have been.

Simple Power Supply
The Thermaltake SMART 600W Power Supply works great. I have it paired with a Thermaltake Pop Air case, Gigabyte Aorus Z690 UD DDR4 motherboard, Intel i5-14400F, 1050TI GPU and 32gb memory. I have enough power for the needed It has been working well with no issues. The extra fans in the case is sufficient enough and I was able to connect the power supply to the RGB controller as well.It seems to be going strong and I won't have to update the power supply unless I plan to go to a higher end GPU. But for the most part it is working without any problems.

Really good PSU for the price
Freaking amazing for the price I bought two of these one for me one for my wife I mean for being a non modular power supply it's actually really good and I'm pretty sure it comes with a 5-year warranty it should say on the box but as I'm not looking at it at this moment I couldn't tell you exactly but it should show you in the pictures in the listing as that was one of the biggest selling points for me the build quality seems to be really well put together it smelled really nice out of the box to be honest which is a weird thing to say smelled like fresh electronics and not like an old factory like other electronics I bought the cable link is more than enough it's super easy to install in any case not really much more to say about it overall great product so far I've never used this brand until now but I'm definitely glad that I gave them a chance

Runs kind of hot only one SATA cable. Otherwise seems to be good PS.
I've been using this for a week now.Pro: Adequate power for older GPU and MB.I'm running about 450-watt load without issues so far.Voltages are good under load.Came with power cable. No power issues yet.ConsOnly one SATA cable with 4 connectorsOne Molex connector? why. Hence 4 stars.Had to buy Molex to SATA adapter ~$6.Runs kind of hot in well-ventilated case. Not modular cables so you will have to tuck cables somewhere.

It just works
I've been using this in my build for over a year now and it's been working great. I like Thermaltake and I would buy it again for another build. It's very quiet and seems to be built very well. It provides stable power to my computer every day. All day if needed.

very happy for the price
i'm reviewing this after having used it for three years. it's nothing crazy but it gets the job done. the low price has some consequences, you're not getting a modular psu so cable management is a little more involved, there's only one daisy chain pcie cable which means there are gpus with high but reasonable power draw for this psu that you'll be forced to use with only one pcie cable, and after a while the fan in my psu developed a slight whine that was only audible when the fan was winding up, but for the price, none of these are huge issues, i just eventually wanted to upgrade to something that fixed the small issues i had with it. would happily recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap power supply that gets the job done and isn't at any huge risk of failing.

I mean... it works, and has worked... for 2 years... I game... A LOT
Peopple say this badboy goes out on them weeks in, I have had this thing for 2 years on an I8 12900k... running a 4060ti on an AS rock z790 pro, and I have had ZERO issues... I know I should put something... better in here, in terms of a psu, but so far, no issues. Great uhm... cost effective purchase/solution... will get something modular... eventually lolI just don't want to have to redo my whole build and cable management
