Falsely indicated in product description as a premium sailing glove
These gloves, though likely good for the things indicated on the packaging in which they came, are not robust enough for sailing (see image for comparison between this glove and an actual sailing glove).

Not sailing gloves!
If you are buying these for sailing, you will be disappointed. I was elated that I got these for almost half the price of my previous sailing gloves. They seemed to look like any other pair of sailing gloves from my ignorant perspective. Half way into the first day of my sailing vacation, 2 of my fingers were rubbed raw. It hurt so much that I motored, instead of sailed, between moorings the rest of the week because my right hand hurt afterwards anytime I moved it. Trying to save $10-15 significantly ruined my $8k family USVI cat vacation.

For Kayaking Purposes*
Would not recommend these gloves for kayaking. They are too thick so they don’t dry out.I bought these to prevent getting blisters, but they caused more blisters than before. They are nice thick gloves, so could be used for other purposes but not for somewhere where your hands are getting wet because they just keep the moisture on your skin.

Too big but it doesn’t matter because I have no constitutional rights
Great product However I will no longer be participating in a capitalistic society where the “demand for domestic infants” is more important that allowing US citizens rights to FDA approved healthcareAnd where the Supreme Court does not believe in protecting my rights because rights for women are not “steeped in US traditions”

Thumbs too Loose
I bought these for Kayaking because I was getting blisters on my thumbs. The gloves fit my palms fine and provide a better grip of the paddle, especially after applying cream sun cream. But the thumb area is too big and loose. So it rubs and still causes a bister. Less often than with out gloves. But to insure no blisters band aides around the my thumbs is needed.

Forgot they were there, perfect so far
So, before these gloves, I never really thought much about glove choice. I wear work gloves every day at my job, and I pull them off when I'm done, whatever.at first I was sailing with my work gloves, and they worked, and I would pull them off as soon as I was done with a line. However I took these out sailing yesterday, and I didn't take them off until lunch, and it sort of surprised me. They kept my hands protected just fine, and I didn't have any urge to pull them off my hands. I am guessing because they are so light weight?Loved them, now I just need to see how well they hold up this season. I'll try to remember to update this around November.

Great Sailing Gloves
I had these gloves for over 3 months and find them very durable. They are comfortable enough that you don't realize you're wearing them constantly and I wear them for 4-5 hours every time I go out. I had first bought a larger size because I read some reviews saying they were snug, but I had to return them for my correct size. The glove fit me exactly as the measurements described on the profile. I would highly recommend these for any sailor as they are sturdy, comfortable, breathable because of the open finger tops and they have great padding for the rope. They also were quite affordable so I would say you're getting good value for your money.

Not so good. Irritates finger on right hand. Not much grip.
I purchased these in March 2020. Finally used Dec 2020. They feel OK at first. I use for Stand Up Paddle - SUP. There is something rough that is very painful to 2nd joint from tip of finger when the right hand is on the paddle shaft. Do not know why the problem is only on right hand. Also, not as much grip as I get with West Marine sailing gloves. I use gloves to improve my grip on the paddle shaft -- a slip when paddling hard could result in a fall. Hands slip on paddle after applying sunscreen or from sweat. Too late to return. Maybe Goodwill can use.

SUP gloves
Just wanted something to protect my hands when supping as my palms can get blisters easily. They do the job perfectly

Good for price
Have used these during the winter for paddling. They kept hands warm, and I liked the 3/4 length finger length as it’s just my fingertips exposed to the elements. Reasonably good grip

Great gloves!
I bought these for my grandson for when he goes kayaking with his dad. He was thrilled with them. My son-in-law now wants a pair. Loved the colours.
