It would be nice if they worked.
These switches were faulty from the factory! All five of the DO NOT WORK, Checked each with a Fluke Meter for continuity. Took one apart to see why but could not find anything. Trashed them all and took the loss.

Switch works - but wiring info is confused.
There has been much buyer feedback about wiring on this switch – and rightly so. The wiring diagram from the seller is confusing; and incorrect I think. So I tested the switch using the ohms and diode test modes on my bench meter. I numbered the lugs 1, 2, 3 consecutively; with the brass lug as number 3.The 1st attached drawing shows my inferred switch internal contacts configuration. The lamp appears to be a diode connected internally as shown with lug 3 positive and lug 2 negative. When I tested just the LED; it works for Voltages from 5 V up to 24 V. It’s pretty bright at 24V; but only draws 10 mA.Because of the direction of the internal diode - I determined that switching the high side of the circuit (switch between V+ and before the load) doesn't work correctly, and confirmed it in testing. It seems THE LED IS IN BACKWARDS FOR A HIGH SIDE DC SWITCH OPERATION !!!The attached images #2 & #3 show a high side switch and low side switch configuration respectively. Both approaches successfully turn on power to the load; but the high side switch approach fails to turn on the LED as Lug #3 has to be positive with respect to lug #2 for the LED to work when the switch is on - and with this configuration both Lug 2 and 3 are at V+ when the switch is on. The low side drawing – image #3 – shows the correct wiring for the switch to function with LED illumination. When turned off, the low side switch configuration opens the ground side of the circuit and leaves the + side connected to the load; which is not really desirable. But other than that – it works quite well with this ground side wiring.
