I bought this to support our chair hammock. It is very durable and really worked out well.

Works well to install in wood if you do two things1. Drill a pilot home with an electric drill2. Use a 12mm socket set wrench to tighten the bolt. That fit perfectly on the wood bolts I received.I’d plan to use a socket set to install this. Good luck!

These attached to my hammock posts very easily. However, the hooks were too small for my hammock so I had to buy larger ones at my local home improvement store. The package does only come with one bracket set, if you're hanging a regular hammock, make sure to purchase two of these.

Very sturdy. We were nervous about installing a hanging chair from ceiling and assum d we needed all sorts of reinforcements. But we had a stud finder, marked where the beam was and we were able to put this directly into the beam.I only said fairly easy as you do need a stud finder and the screws don’t have a slot in the center to use a regular drill. Luckily my husband had the right tool ...not even sure what it is called. Used lots of arm strength to crank by hand into the wood beam. See in image how screws have a flat surface.
