Bottle Da Bomb Beyond Insanity Hot Sauce, Bottle

Is it hot? Sure it is - it’s supposed to be. But I didn't find it "run for a glass of milk" hot. I got a real "back of the throat" kind of heat from it, that progressively got hotter, but it also has a pleasant smoky flavor to it as well. I have yet to try it on a chicken wing; in order to try it for the first time I put a dab on a french fry. I would suggest trying it by actually putting it onto some food; trying it straight out of the bottle by itself would probably taste pretty chemically which could turn you off from eating it again.I am certainly not planning to start putting this on everything I eat taco sauce on, but it will be a nice conversation starter and fun challenge opportunity when people come over and eat hot wings.The bottle arrived well packaged, wrapped in bubble wrap, the cap was sealed well with no leaks or breakage.Don't get crazy with it and you will do just fine. Start with a dab and go from there...

It's hot. It's really hot. If you don't like hot things, do not buy this product. If you like hot things, try it out slowly. I like dabbing bratwursts in it to give them heat. If you put it in your mouth by itself, you'll likely not notice its flavor though its heat, and may just feel like you chemically burned your tongue/mouth. But, when put on/in other stuff at a reasonable quantity, it has a great chipotle and Chile flavor hidden in there. It works well on meats and in stews or chili.

Love the shock of this sauce. It has inspired me to try more hot sauces.

This is not a hot sauce that you will be happy with flavorwise and want to substitute on taco night or anything like that. It tastes pretty aweful...and then the heat sets in and just holds on for what feels like forever. I have eaten with hot wings just to do it with the family and it really burns even if you don't eat the whole wing. I can't compare it to any other sauce how it just burns, but it just burns. I have also used it for jerkey just for those guys who think they like hot jerkey and again it doesn't give the best flavor, but the smoke helps. I usually cut off a small piece like half the size of a penny when offereing it and that is typically more than anyone is interested in trying. I have also used it to spice up home mede BBQ sauce, it actually works ok for this, but you have to be careful how much you put in, it gets hot quick, but the other ingredints in the BBQ mask the flavor. If you're thinking of getting it to do a hot ones challenge its worth the experince. If you're looking for a good tasting sauce to use regularly, I'd say go with something else.

I had to try this because of the show. It's definitely not the hottest of their sauces. The ingredients are habanero and Chipotle, not reaper or ghost, but it's hotter than any habanero I've tasted. They must have concentrated it more. The Chipotle gives it a nice roasted flavor. Reaper and ghost, depending on concentration, are usually hotter, but I never cared for their taste. Da bomb flavor is probably the best I've tasted for this level of heat. This is something I can use on all my foods. The hotter sauces I'll save for soups and chilies.My guess as to why da bomb gets the biggest reaction: it's the first sauce that really cranks up the heat. After this one, their mucous membrane are pretty numb, so the hotter sauces don't have as much effect.

Bottle was smaller than I thought it would be but you don't need much. It's hot as hell.

After watching hot ones we ordered this for a teen birthday party challenge along with other hot sauces. I am a spice wuss. I thought for sure I would be sick the day after. Lo and behold. I was fine. No tears. No coughing. No death occurred. I did chase it with a cheese slice… but otherwise it was fine. Decent flavor. And the bottle will last forever in small doses.
