Tetra3 Gallon Small Fish Tank, Aquarium Starter Kit, with Filter, Air pump, & Color Changing Light, Half Moon shape, for Gold Fish & Betta

This is an adorable little tank! I just had one loan zebra tetra left in a big tank and I got this for him and he’s so happy and it’s very pristine. I really enjoy watching it. As well as my cat. So I’ve had to put some large rocks on the top But still lets the light in and it’s simple to put together and a lovely addition even if you just have a beta it would be happy. The pump and filter are very quiet. And they do a very good job keeping the water clean. Though I bought an aftermarket filter that seemed to work better than what came with it but they were relatively inexpensive and have made keeping the tank upkeep simple.

This tank is a keeper for me. I only use it as a quarantine tank for new fish that I buy. It's very easy to set up and very light weight. The black bottom base comes off so I have to be careful when transferring the tank to another area. The whole tank is solid throughout so there is no possibility for leaks unless there is crack somewhere.Everything works fine, the filter and the aerator. The front is halfmoon shape and I can't really observe the scales and fins of my fish because the shape distorts the view so I turned it around to see them better, as shown in the picture. The back is flat with better view for observing the fish. I only use it for a maximum of 4 weeks until quarantine is complete. Then I store this again for future use. Good tank for my purpose.

The box that the tank was in was a little on the crushed side, but the items within were completely fine.I like this tank, and its crossing the line over to loving it, if it weren't for these things:1st: The filter lid is broken, the lid suppose to pop onto the top of the filter but one of the little nubs that the lid slides onto isn't even there. however this did not stop me from securing the lid onto the filter, I just have to take care when I remove the lid to change/rinse off the filter cartridge or it falls off into the filter or the aquarium itself.2nd: The Bubblestone/LED lights. The Bubblestone was obstructed. Something was inside the air intake sleeve that I could see but could not get out. The other thing about it is about the LEDs. Though pretty, I feel that this should be a feature that was built into the base under the plastic that you can just put gravel/soil around and just plug up the base of the Aquarium to an outlet, freeing up space and getting rid of that unsightly power cord in the tank.3rd: Is a combonation of the LED power cord and the Lid to the Aquarium. The lid has a little notch for the power cord to go through. Unfortunally tropical fish aquariums need a heater. My heater had to monopolize this area of the lid - making the use of the LED Bubblestone moot. Cant use both and I choose my fishes health over aesthetics.The rest of the tank is perfect. Once you learn how to put the aquarium lid on (starting with the back corners of the aquarium, and working your way to the front) its great to have. The filter is quiet, I dont even hear the airpump that operates the filter, and the price makes it ideal. Just those small, minor things, which only really effect me, and not my fish is whats preventing me from giving it a 5 star rating.Would I recommend this Aquarium? Yes I would, its great for beginners, or people whom have to live in small places.

Hey fellow fish lovers!! My tank arrived on time without any broken areas or issues. It comes with a filter, 1 filter cartridge, air pump, lights and bubbler and of course all the various tubes and things. It has a clear hood so you can see the lights on the ceiling which is so beautiful. This is a great deal and had a fairly easy setup. This a great tank for beginners! I love it so far. I don't have water in it and won't buy my fish for a couple weeks (cycling tank) so I might update it then! My first impression is a great one but we will see! :)Update: As promised I will give you an update :-) it has been about a month-ish of having my tank I now have a betta fish, two ghost shrimp and two snails in my tank :-) it has been a great set up! In the beginning I had trouble with the filter bubbling like crazy but with time it seemed to get better and also a filter change really did the trick when it started bubbling profusely again weeks later. I managed to shove a house and a large plant as decorations in the tank :-) I wouldn't trust people when they say they couldn't keep anything alive in the tank. You have to cycle the tank for best results and also use a water conditioner. This is my very first tank and I am a complete newcomer to the fish keeping world. But I have kept my overstocked tank happy and healthy for the last two weeks because I did my research and do regular water changes. This tank has a unique shape, an adjustable air pump, LED lighting and filter for an amazing price. I am very satisfied with this purchase and hope you get to experience this tank in your home :-) I would definitely recommend and encourage you to buy this product! Happy fish keeping!2nd update:It is still a great tank :-) I have had my sweet fish Leonardo in this tank for about two months and he is happily swimming around his fun home! I have probably had this tank for about 3 to 4 months for the cycling process and I have been very pleased by this product! This is definitely a steal it is a great tank for newbies :-) at the end of the day I love sitting watching the colors change and Leonardo making his rounds swimming around the plants and through The cords!
