Not as BOLD as it used to be. It has become ordinary.
Tully's French Roast (Dark/Bold) used to be my addiction. However, the last 2 cases I have ordered contains a product that is less bold/strong in flavor which was the reason for my addiction. Could they be using a little less product in the K-Cup (cost cutting move?); could it be a quality control issue?, I don't know. In any case, this is not the same coffee/product it used to be. I don't mind this version, but I think I can better satisfy my addiction switching to a product like Peets French Roast. With all this being said, you can't argue with the price for Tully's on Amazon compared to the leading brands.FYI, for the second box I instructed an Amazon Rep. to place a note to the vendor that the order was for the Dark/Bold Version as some reviewers seem to think there is a mix up of 2 different versions (Regular vs. Bold). The box had Dark Roast/Bold stamped on it. Thus, I am confident I am reviewing the latest Dark/Bold Version. The K-Cups also had the white ring around the border of the seal.

Good Cofee - Do your Math homework before you select your purchase.
I think for the price this is an excellent coffee. Full bold flavor which is what I prefer. My suggestion to future buyers is to make sure you are getting the best deal per cup. There are so many different configurations available for purchase that I literally get out my calculator to determine the best buy. The large quantities are not always the best price. Also shipping plays a major factor in the purchase. Some vendors can have a great per cup cost and then have an outrageous shipping charge. Make sure you include all these factors in your decision. All in all, Its a good bold coffee. You usually cant find the French roast at the big box stores... So Amazon is the place to go for the French Roast.

Among The Best
After trying many, many different K-cups, and most of them too weak to finish drinking, I gave serious thought to sending my Keurig brewer to the trash bin and going back to my regular brewer. Luckily for me, I finally found this Tully's French Roast to satisfy my taste. This is a coffee that actually tastes like what coffee is meant to be IMHO. It has a nice strong coffee taste that really hits the spot. If you like wimpy light or medium roast then you will not like this Tully's French Roast. You will also not like Newman's bold coffee either which is nearly as good as this Tully's and is included in my stock. Kudos to Tully and Newman for making K-cups drinkable.

NOT THE SAME
I have been buying this product for years, it has always been labeled DARK ROAST COFFEE, EXTRA BOLD.the box says it is extra bold but the coffee inside just says "French Roast" and is not nearly as strong or the same full taste.I have been buying from Green Mountain Coffee for years and thought I would try yours since it said dark roast. but it is the same as the order from green mountain. the reason I will not order from them any longer is the several different reps I talked to all tried to tell me it was just new packaging and the coffee was the same. I have been drinking 4 - 6 cups of this a day for years and feel I am well qualified to tell there is a difference.ps I can still buy the Extra Bold at Bed Bath and Beyond, it only comes in a 18 pack and cost a few cents more a cup but it looks like that's where I will go unless you come up with the dark roast bold. the top is orange and brown not orange, brown with white trim around outside.

Taste is subjective, but I think Tully's may offer the best K-cup of coffee.
These are my favorite K-cups.I've learned that there is tremendous variation in the quality of K-cup coffee. I generally find Green Mountain K-cups always seem bitter to me. Paul Newman K-cups strike me as a bit weak. Starbucks K-cups are good, but I can't find a dark roast. These Tully's French Roast K-cups give me a cup of coffee that most closely approximates something I'd get from a quality grind in a good drip machine.I've often worried that we've traded taste for convenience with K-cups, and the Tully's French Roast gives me hope that there's still a place for taste.

Tully's "Extra Bold" French Roast is My Kind of Coffee!
I've ordered this type of coffee before. I keep coming back for more. As long as the coffee is Tullys "Extra Bold" French Roast Coffee K-cups, I'm happy.80 K-cups last me quite awhile, and I use one K-cup approximately 4 times to defect the cost of each K-cup. Amazon has the best price for me so far, even though I get ads from other coffee companies. The packaging and delivery are great since I'm an Amazon Prime member..I 'm a very satisfied customer, can't you tell?

a little bitter but a good roast
I like the extra bold blends for my Keurig so I'm always looking for a new flavor. This blend was a little more bitter than I like but overall it is a good roast. I would purchase again. I think it may have been the lot that I ordered because I tried it before in a sample pack and it was awesome.

Best K cup for coffee lovers!
My husband thought the Keurig coffee maker was just another gadget, only to be used when guests wanted to make their own choice for flavored coffees. When I purchased a small box of this extra bold coffee, he said it was the best coffee he has ever had...home or in a restaurant! I purchased this larger box, and he said, "Why don't we put the Keurig in the kitchen, and put our 12 cup coffee maker away"! He is now having less cups of coffee...enjoying it much more...and absolutely no waste!
