Q: Why is this just for boys?

I agree that these costumes aren't gender specific, but I think I know why they're labeled that way. Searches for "costumes for preschoolers" or "dress-up for kids", I got Belle, Tinker Bell, Cinderella, and other assorted princesses. Mind you, if my grandsons wanted to wear ball gowns, I wouldn't care, but what they want is to play firefighter, chef, doctor, etc. Searching "costumes for boys" screens out the Disney princesses & gets the career result I was looking for (although "pirate" isn't really a career anymore). Perhaps "career costumes for preschoolers" would provide a similar result, but I stopped searching when I found what I wanted. PS: The boys love their butterfly wings and their dinosaur costumes, which are not "costumes for boys" either.
