**Update** Found the mounting hardware stuck under the packaging in the box when I was flattening it for recycling. Added the one star I removed for it.It seems really solid and looks good but is pricey, especially when you factor in it does not come with screws to actually mount the shelf

Holding my Mac mini and an external hard disk, and it’s very trustworthy for the task.I have another rack shelf that’s cheap thin metal and feels flimsy, this is the opposite, thick durable steel that’s not going anywhere. Much better. Worth the extra ten bucks.

I added this to my 19" rack and it worked very well.

I needed to place 2 8 port switches, and a router, about the same size as the switches. All fit. Fit into 4U wall mount rack. Just what I needed to make my wife's office neat and tidy.

It's an over priced network shelf. It gets the job done. I only have a router sitting on it so I can't speak too much to sturdiness. Seems solid enough and fit easily into my network rack.

Shelf is great quality and solid value. However screws sent with shelf did not fit my rack. Should send both size screws to keep customer from having to source screws on their own.

This shelf is well made and fits well in each of my two separate applications. I installed two in a 2-pole rack and one in a 4-pole enclosure. There was no "tight squeeze" and the tolerances on the shelf holes seem to be really good so that the shelf lines up perfectly level in any 1U slot. The slotted vents are a plus and the little lip is nice, too. I recently ordered a few 8" versions of these to extend the back of my existing full length enclosure shelves while staying within the bounds of the enclose so the rear door will close. I discovered by happy accident that it works pretty well.The only really minor drawback seems to be that the fastener hardware is hit and miss. I ordered three of these shelves. One came with a packet of screws and washers which worked well with the round threaded holes in my two-pole rack. One came with no fasteners whatsoever. One came with a packet of 6mm screws, washers and the square screw clips that worked well with my rack enclose. So, I advise you to be prepared with your own fasteners.
