Replaced old broken one.
1980 bass tracker had broken front light socket. This fit perfect in the original hole.

The Shoreline Marine Stern Light base was very easy to install and worked flawlessly with a Shoreline Marine all-around light. I have not had the boat out in the weather since installing, but it looks great and appears that it will hold up well. **Update: After one year of use it works perfectly and still looks great. My photos show how the cover swivels to lock the pole in place. 6/2016

Great light base..
I installed this on my boat and it works great. It was very easy to install and so far it’s working great..

Works as expected
Had to drill 2 additional holes, but the old holes were covered by the base. Nice and sturdy unit. Should last a few years!

Replaced the crappy old stern light base on my boat with this one...I had to modify the opening on the boat a little due to a slightly different angle, but no problem and it's perfect now

Must have for trailering or when a boat cover is used.
Simple, plug in the pole and lock it in place with the slide cover. Great for a boat cover and when trailering, a must have IMHO.
