Q: Are these enough light in murky sea water behind a 21' bowrider runabout? How deep under the waterline and far from the side should I mount?

I have installed 4 of these lights on my 21 foot bow rider runabout. I boat in Lake Michigan. I installed the color blue lights 2 inches below the waterline and 4 inches from the side and spaced them 2 feet apart. At dock the light from these lights shine out about 5 feet back and 3 feet to the side. Underway the light shines much further back and to the side because of the reflecting water surface of the wake. When the water is murky they still do a great job. I recommend getting Blue. White will not give you enough effect in murky water. Use Carling Contura II light switch. Also these lights are very easy to install.

Q: will these work for a pontoon boat?I wasnt sure how long the wires out the back where I would need at least 5 FT to get the wire connection safely abv

Yes, these will work on a pontoon boat. The lead is 3 feet long, and 18-2 wire. You can extend it using the same size or larger and connecting with a water proof butt connector and electrical sealant.

Q: What size fuse was needed for two of these and were they wired in series or parallel?

The SeaBlaze Mini draws 990mA on a 12V system and 450mA on a 24V system. To fuse please follow this guide: Total amp draw + 20% = fuse rating. The lights should be installed in parallel; installing them in series will drop the voltage over the line and you will most likely not have enough voltage at each light.
