Q: Does the background have the eye saver feature? It looks like a screen when turned on and prevents as much light coming through.

I believe it has eye-sight protection feature. I use mine often. I also have mild Glaucoma & light-sensitive eyes & haven’t experienced any eye strain. Very nice product, especially fifths price. Hope this helps you.😊

Q: What is the exact type of usb? nowhere is it stated! i bought a usb type c cord and it doesn't fit. the usb cord it comes with is a joke!

The USb that came with my lightboard fit perfectly into the side of my pc. I don't have the actual dimensions or model number of the cord.
