When I purchased these, Amazon had a buck off coupon for the 3 pack, so basically I got 3 of them at $2 a pop. I can either give two away, or strategically lose them.I got them specifically for accessing micro SD cards, and they are almost perfect for that - note that for micros, the card just presses in, there's no spring load action. It leaves just enough of the card sticking out for me to get an easy grip on come removal time (it's not a pain to remove the card). These also do not duplicate a usb port, they just have slots for different types of SD cards. Finally, the case is just a tad bulky, so if you have two usb ports close together, this may encroach on any connector you have attached to the other port.I'm not complaining, though - this is a handy and inexpensive way to mount and access a micro SD card when all I have available are devices with usb ports. :)

Why is it difficult? I use a SD card reader to transfer photo files to my computer. I bought a smaller computer that did not have built is SD card reader. The card reader slot is difficult to insert the actual card and removing. I will not be using it again. I have another that works well that I wanted to keep attached to another computer. The other issue I have is the usb connect to my computer is not good. I have tried other devices with usb connections that do not become disconnected. So i do not recommend. Overall rating use is one star.

The card reader does what it is supposed to. I just found mine to be a bit small for the cards, sd and micro-sd cards. I opened the slots a bit, with a file, to get the cards to slide in/out easier. The slots are a hair off, in the card size dimensions.

These do not work at all on a Windows 10 computer. Tried 3 different computers. None of these would read a SD or MicroSD card. It would how up as a drive letter, then Windows would give an error saying "insert disk".

Superb. Try making an ultra slim but longer one but with the way you made it.. it dont get much better. Impressive. Wonder where the 3.0 version is. Superb price. We need better sellers like these. Thank you.

Coverts Micro SD to USB perfect. If you have a new PC with only UBS's and have Micro cards, this will let you use them.

Works as they should. Made of cheap plastic which may be a problem under regular use
