I bought one years ago and was trying to find another one. I finally found one on amazon. I like the brightness and how small it is to put anywhere you need it. It's so handy to carry and use.

Not crazy about the different modes.First one out of the box didn't work properly but had new one next day.Pretty bright and seems pretty well made.

So far, the product works well. Size is perfect for my use. Will see how long it lasts.

I work for Postmates, and needed a flashlight to help see address #'s at night, this light is very bright, I got some Lithium batteries for it, and it seems a bit brighter than when I had normal batteries in it. I have no need for the strobe, but it has the ability to zoom in the light to a smaller focused light, or pull it back to hit a bigger area, and it feels very sturdy.

I ordered this flashlight for taking the dog out at night, power outage, etc. i hoped for a decent product, but wasn’t sure how well it would work. I can say with certainty that this is the BEST flashlight I’ve ever had. I love the strobe effect (its just me and my 80 yr. old mother in the house, so anything with a safety feature is appreciated), and the option to choose high, low or medium illumination. It looks and feels like a high-quality product and I feel sure it will last a long time. I’m plan buy a few more so I can give them to family members. I highly recommend this product.

This is my second Bell + Howell 1176 Taclight. I use the flashlight 1-2 times at night to take my puppy out to go potty. It is on less than 10 minutes a night, which equates to minimal use.I purchased the first one July 29th, 2016 & returned it as the push button on & off switch fell apart. I ordered my replacement Taclight on Aug 24th. We are now 7 weeks later (too late to ask for a refund) and the same thing has happened to this one.There is this soft orange rubber piece that is the on/off button. It covers a metal type button on a spring. This rubber piece keeps coming out. It's a poor design. Additionally, when the orange button is getting stuck & coming out the taclight cycles through its bright to SOS code modes.The concept of this taclight is a good idea; however, it does not hold up under use.I recommend you buy a different product.
