Spillage from the battery.
Product is delivered with damaged battery which I released very lately.. The battery must be very old due to which there was a spillage from the battery. When the display was not working I tried changing the battery and saw that there was spillage from both the battery. Even after cleaning that battery portion and replenishing it with the new battery the display is still not working. Very disappointing.
