I have taken this turmeric for a while to alleviate tendinitis pain (tennis elbow).first, I was taking 1200mg one from other company and it didn't seem to work for me and switched to 1500mg from CRI Naturals.I definitely feel less inflammation on my elbows also my brittle nail turned to be pretty strong.I started taking it to reduce inflammation but know that it is very good for over all health.I will keep taking this.

I have been taking Turmeric for 4 weeks now as a supplement to the Prednisone I am taking for PMR. I hoped to be able to reduce the dosage of Prednisone because of Turmeric, but that has not been possible.

I did some research online for turmeric supplements when my Ortho doc recommended it after reviewing my spinal MRI. I had been having back pain, and he started me on some PT sessions to get my back strength increased. He told me that many patients had reported improvement while using turmeric due to its anti-inflammatory properties. He explained that I needed to find one that had the pepper additive so that it would be absorbed by my digestive tract, and that I needed to find one that had the recommended therapeutic dose of at least 1000mg to be effective. It is in a fairly large capsule (not a surprise, as I ordered the 1500mg dose) but I had no trouble at all swallowing it with the rest of my daily supplements. The capsules are a clear material, and I could easily see the powder inside had that dark, mustard-like color, which lined up with what I had found in my research on the ingredients. I do believe that I did benefit from the anti inflammatory properties of the supplement, and, as I have taken the whole bottle now, I will be ordering more.
