I bought this alongside some other gifts for my 18 year old for his birthday. He's used it already and the badger brush is good quality and the soap smells and feels smooth and gentle not over perfumed.Great little gift

The brush and bowl are great. I haven't used the shave soap though so I don't know it's like.The brush is doing well so far after a month. I use the bowl to keep my shaver in between shaves.Very pleased.

I had been looking for a nice and small shaving bowl and for something to hold my brush since the last one was too big and bulky so when I saw this for a reasonable price it seemed ideal. When it arrived it was exactly what I wanted so I was able to retire my bulky bowl and have somewhere to put my brush at last. I wasn’t interested in the brush or soap that came with it but the brush was a nice soft one which I will definitely use when my current one gets old. I tried the soap but found it a bit too thin or watery compared to what I use already and it didn’t leave much room in the bowl when it was inside and I use a wet liquid type foam and put a little bit in the bowl which leaves more room for me to swish the brush around than if there was a bar in there so if you want to do that maybe have a think if you need more space. I didn’t so I love this.

Got no idea how good this is bought it as a birthday gift in September, and been a female can’t tell you if it’s good or bad. But Amazon wanted a review.

I like the stand and bowl, but not the brush. A bit stiff. Maybe the brush softens up with use? I use my old brush that’s super soft with this stand and bowl.

From the brush, to the soap, bowl, and stand. Everything was processed with such care!I have very sensitive skin on the face and this soap seemed to have moisturized and cleared redness and inflammation which I was having for months! Not to mention its main purpose, it provided a very clean, close, and nickless shave.The brush was processed with such care that it has no notable smell, and it does not shed bristles, as i've had with other badger brushes before.The bowl and stand come together nice and neatly to store, and move around the bathroom countertop.All of this for only 22.99 usd, will definitley be buying more of this soap!Thanks so much! Und was soll ich sagen: Dieses Ding ist perfekt!Die Maße passen sehr gut; der Pinsel ist seit Monaten in Gebrauch und hat noch nicht ein Haar verloren; er trocknet nach Anwendung zügig in der Halterung und die üblichen Rasierseifestücke (Wir verwenden gerne Produkte der Firma "Störtebekker") liegen bestens in der Edelstahlschale.Feine Sache, also!

I found using a brush and shave soap helped my shave feel more comfortable and felt less irritation after the shave.As well the shaving cream that comes in an aerosol can hurts the environment, so using a brush with a cream or soap is a good way to help the environment and get a better shave.The Pros:-You get everything you need (brush, bowl, drying stand for brush and shave soap) to get started at a good price point.-The brush is decent quality, feels comfortable and is the best part of the kit.The Cons:-The brush does have a strong odor, but goes away with use.-The shave soap it comes with is good, but there are better soaps and creams out there. Of course, once the soap is gone you can use any other soap or cream you want with the kit.Bottom-line:I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to improve their shave.
