Not got a measuring tape with me, but deep enough to get your hand in, plenty room for wallets, phones etc.

Hi there I’m size 36 but 34 fits really well because stretching. If you are size 38 and you like the shorts nice fit instead a bit loose, the 36 will fit well. The legs is 50cm or 20 inchs. I hope My answer will be helpful
