bright........ really bright
Using it to find leaks in my A/C system. It shines like a full moon night. Much brighter than my old one (relative i know), but yea this does not need to be up close to the florescence to show it off. Even works in the daytime, but that is asking a lot. Best wait for night.

Amazing product!
I bought this light for our trip to Vegas and I'm so glad I did! Our first night we discovered a large stain (human DNA) on the bedspread and had the hotel housekeeping change the bedding completely. We had to change rooms because the smoke got too bad from our neighbors and after checking the second room, the headboard looked like it was hit with a firehose! (again, human DNA). We were upgraded to a suite after that because the hotel manager was so embarrassed! I will never travel without this light again!
