Good quality product but not really necessary to perform the work so I returned.

Works great to ensure you make good connections on PVC or CPVC when using Sharkbite joints. I used it to install a water softener and whole house filter, configured with many valves so I can bypass one or the other or both.

Kind of expensive for what it does, but it cleans and forms the cut edge of the pipe very well. Note that these are gauged (depth-wise) for the original Sharkbite fittings, not the newest version of Sharkbites. It would be a simple eyeball adjustment to make them usable for the newer fittings, however.

Do not buy from Hearthsire. I bought the 6 way orange deburring tool and got the yellow 3 way. Others have reported the same. They still falsely advertise them for sell after telling me they're discontinued! That said, Sharkbite is the best and if you can actually get what you need from a different seller, you will be happy with the tool.
