Pure Magic: A Complete Course in Spellcasting

Judika Illes is one of my favorite authors on magik, her diversity in spell work is amazing. Pure Magic like all her other tomes is a classic, this is my 4th copy of the book. I have bought a copy for all my daughters and my neighbors daughter as well. this book has every spell you need, you name it love, marriage, pregnancy, divination spells. I especially love the section on protection for infants and children as witches with children, the first rule of thumb is to protect your children and this has complete spells on how to protect the little ones. there is also money magic which everyone can use. also included are dying and death spells to ease transition back to the cosmic mothers womb. I can't say enough about the authors work, her books are always master pieces, rich in diversity, it does not matter what path you hail, books by this author will take your magik to the next level if you apply yourself diligently.

Once again JudikaIlles does it again with this "Pure Magic: Complete Couse in Spellcasting" her easy to read and yet informative style. Like many of her books this is non-wiccan based craft. If anyone is interested in learning Pure Magic on their own, I would highly recommend this book to start with first. Very easy to understand and follow with straight forward how to do and no fluff or complicated rituals to complete. (unless you feel you need to.)

I know this book has been redone under a different name and isn’t the “newest” edition but I love this book!!!!! Judika is my FAVORITE occult author and everything she writes is gold!!!! This book is essential for the beginner witch, but also was great for someone like me who is more “intermediate” because there are lots of great spells and formulas. I also love this book because it’s not just “Wiccan” but is more magick in general and uses info from all sorts of traditions including hoodoo, Celtic, Norse and more. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to start their journey into the world of magick

I have to say that this book is the one that I have been looking for since I first became interested in the craft. It very simply and intelligently gives you the information in a way I have not come across in any other book. This is the closest thing to a scholastic book on witchcraft that I think is currently available. If you are just starting out you may want to check out this book. Everyone is different, and you may not have teh same connection to the book that I do. If nothing else this book provides enough information on the subject to help you find your own path.

This book is set up to take you through how to do your spells, then what items you may need: stones, feathers, etc, then the recipes section. This works well for most folks. As for level, I would say it is an imtermediate, but a novice will learn quickly from it and I recommend it. I have practiced for 48 years now. (Grandmother taught me). It is well written and readable. Enjoy.

This book shares some good herbal recipes for space cleansing. Although it's called spell casting, its more of intention setting and mindfulness. Putting actions behind your thoughts to embed them into your consciousness. The space clearing herbal remedies are refreshing and a good clean mix of natural products, for refreshing your space. Thus the pure part of the magic. The magic is nature.

This book has many wonderful tips and tidbits in it which make it well worth the money for even the mere curious novice. The author explains several rather indepth subjects in such a manner as to make it easy to understand and interesting enough to encourage further exploration on the subject matter. From histories of topics to the how and why of how things are done, this book is well worth exploring.

I was expecting something a bit better than this, but it is OK... many of the spells within this book I've seen just about everywhere, and some look even similar to my own, that I am inspired to create by reading what others wrote. I'm sure everyone is mentioned in the bibliography though, at least I hope so. However, those that are ancient and have been used by many, that is going to be hard to discovered who first wrote or shared it.

This doesn't even require extensive detail in a review. It is easy to follow and understand, and packed with handy information. I would recommend this to anyone wishing to explore alternative means in improving the general well-being of their lives.

Excellent livre pour les débutants; aborde les bases d'a peu près tout les domaines magiques de manière claire et concise. Facile à comprendre et intéressant.

This isn't bad actually. Judika Illes puts the theory of magic into perspective but I found that she left out a lot, especially for beginners. Still, I would recommend this book.
