Though I've used other Codeage products before, they were all supplements. This is the first that I've seen of their skincare products. I've always loved their supplements and found them to be top notch. So why was I surprised at how much I would like this serum. I don't know. But I was happily surprised at how good this stuff is. Codeage is now a brand that I know that I can trust and will most likely like and use.First off, most facial serums come in tiny 1 fluid ounce bottles or cans. Occasionally you'll see a 2 ounce bottle or can. This tall can has a whole 3.4 fluid ounces. Actually, that makes the high price of $67.99 (today's price) much more reasonable, especially considering how good this is.While first using, I thought that this was just another good clear serum, but not any better than all of the run of the mill clear serums of its ilk. It's actually a little runny which isn't my favorite trait of a facial serum. To be honest, it wasn't until after application that my mind completely changed about this serum. As with many others, it spreads easily and absorbs quite well. Feels soothing and does not leave any oily or greasy residuals to have to contend with. Diminishes fine lines and even softened a few of the deeper lines. Made my skin more supple and elastic and gave me a healthy glow. It was when I touched my face afterwards that I noticed how very silky smooth it made my skin feel. Almost creamy, but without any of the residuals. It stays that way all day.Great for all skin types and is just as good for men as it is for women.Yet another great product from Codeage.

There is no absolute miracle in a bottle that will erase every little sign of aging.. I wish! Aging has been a bigger fear then death to me since childhood. Thanks mom, lol, but I digress. I literally will spend any amount of money to fight for the fountain of youth. I even get injections (5k a year). Even their results are limited, so a good skin care routine is important.This seemed pricy to me, can’t lie there, but for 3.4 oz. you are getting almost triple what you get of most serums, and that’s a great value to me, and helps me to rationalize the purchase price. It lasted me nearly 4 months, which is pretty amazing!I do think it helps soften up lines & keep skin hydrated and balanced, which is essential in all areas of the face and neck, especially the delicate areas around the eyes. I’m definitely liking everything about it. If your expectations are not insane, I think you will really enjoy this stuff, too. I like it better then some others I’ve used at two times the cost. Breaking it down, it really isn’t that pricy at all. I’m 47 & had a hard life. This is a light-weight and moisturizing serum that despite the inclusion of lavender, doesn't really seem to have much a scent, at least that I can detect. It does feel cool and refreshing when applied. It is a think gel-like serum, but I didn't find it as watery as some of the other reviewers. It does leave a rather tacky feel on my face for quite a while, so I am not as likely to use this alone (the product description suggests that this serum can also be used as a moisturizer). I don't find it moisturizing enough to use on its own, anyway as I have very dry skin. I prefer to use this after a toner and then apply a moisturizing cream on top. It does boost the performance of my moisturizer, so I can make it through the day without having to reapply, although that may be partly due to the fact that spring weather has finally arrived, and my skin isn't quite as finicky as it is during the winter. I do feel that this is light enough to use as part of my summer skin care routine. In addition to being dry and prone to dehydration, my skin is also sensitive, but this serum causes no redness, sting or irritation. I haven't really noticed much of an effect on my porese, but this serum does seem to help leave my skin smooth and more resilient.. The current price of $67.99 is initially a bit of. a shock, but since the bottle contains 3.4 ounces, this is actually quite a bit less expensive than many other serums I have tried. The serum arrived nicely boxed and properly sealed.
