Naturally sweet, with a smooth coconut flavor
The media could not be loaded. I really love this hot cereal for breakfast or a snack. You prepare it very similar to any other hot cereal. I use a half a cup of cereal to a half a cup of hot water. Then let it sit for a few minutes before eating. You can add sweetener to this, but I find that it’s perfectly sweet just the way it is. Great alone- or paired with berries or peanut butter. The consistency is a ground, smoother version of dried coconut flakes. Almost like a cream of wheat, and as you chew, you can feel /taste the coconut slivers. It has a very mild coconut smell. This product is vegan and gluten free. It sits very well in your stomach and is easy to digest. No bloating or GI upset.

Yum!
Great AIP breakfast option. Delicious by itself or mixed with banana.

I am craving this now (after some add'l ingredients)
With some added ingredients THIS IS VERY GOOD! For being on a very limited diet (no grains or nuts - AIP Autoimmune Paleo), and use 1/2 qty liquid as Coconut milk, and Add Vanilla, more Cinnamon, and date syrup (from soaked dates in water), then this Farina is very good! It is expensive, but I found myself craving for more of it. The alternatives for hot cereal on the AIP diet are not as tasty as this is. I have not tried this with just water added as the package instructs. Before having to go on this diet, I ate oatmeal and similar hot cereals (made essentially the same way) every morning for breakfast. Even with oatmeal, the taste is very bland unless vanilla, cinnamon, and a sweetener are added. Before finding this product, I thought I was not going to find a grain and nut-free hot cereal that I could eat on this AIP diet. Now, I am craving it!

Good options for food allergies
I have food allergies and have to prepare all my own food. But when I travel, I am stuck. Until now! This travels nicely and gives me something to eat in the morning or anytime. Just add water and a little cinnamon and sometimes a dab of maple syrup and it's yummy. It is grainier in texture than traditional oatmeal or porridge, but it's hearty and fills you up. And the fact that tigernuts are tubers and not nuts and they are a resistant startch just adds to the beauty of this.

Lectin free hot cereal
A great replacement for hot cereal that is Lectin free. Didn’t taste like the farina I remember growing up with but once I got use to the nutty flavor and added a teaspoon of honey it was very satisfying.

rancid, horrible taste
I would give it 0 stars if I could, the coconut oil is rancid ruining the whole cereal. Tiger nuts are delicious and naturally sweet but you can't taste anything else but the overpowering rancid coconut. Horrible. I hate giving bad reviews but don't spend your money on this one. There either a quality control issue or it's expired.Either way it would taste great without the coconut!

Gastrointestinal safe, but still not a fan
To be honest it tasted a bit like wet cardboard dust to me. Definitely did not cause adverse gastrointestinal issues though. Methan dominant SIBO/IMO, no reaction after eating.

SO GOOD!!! AND LOW CARB, TOO!!
This hot cereal is sooo good. And I love that it is low carb & unsweetened. It does has some natural sweetness to it. Not sure if it is the Tigernut flour or what, but this stuff really helps "make you go" every time! Worth the price!!!
