Excellent product- Pure, no additives - Competitively priced
So I am going to begin by talking about price: This sack of poop might seem expensive, but it’s actually in line with other offerings out there (both here on Amazon and at your local garden store).Any of you who regularly buy this compost have probably noticed that the price of worm castings fluctuates as much as the stock market. I bought this product because its major competitor here on Amazon, Wiggle Worm, experienced a particularly high spike. (I have actually bought Wiggle Worm 14 times starting in 2015 and as recently 2021.). The most I paid (after sales tax of 7%) was $42.15… which certainly felt like price gouging. So … I gave this brand a try. I was very pleased that I did. It is that rich black organic matter that I am very familiar with. Clearly there were no additives, it was completely pure. It had no odor (exactly as it should be).Something I read in the recent reviews of Wiggle Worm earthworm castings was that evidently they have been putting additives in their mix. Folks were even posting pictures of what the mixture looked like. Frankly, that spooked me. I think, even if Wiggle Worm does come back down in price, I might not buy from them based on those reviews that were backed up by photos. To make things worse, some reviewers said their bags contained gnats. — Listen, I have always loved Wiggle Worm, but business is business. If you happen to use the Square Foot Gardening method, this definitely could be used as one of your five composts to create your “soil” mixture. I use it for exactly that. However, I do also use it as a ground soil amendment . It’s remarkably versatile. It helps to give your soil medium the “friable” texture that is ideal for plant growth and plant health.Overall, this is an excellent product. I highly recommend.

Yes, spending your money on these bags of crap is a good investment.
These worm castings are great. I got them to fertilize the cheap potting soil I used fill my raised beds, and to revitalize some old potting soil. So far its working great. The flowers and vegetables I've planted have sprouted and look strong. I added about an inch of worm castings to the top of the soil and mixed it in with a garden fork. I added some additional castings into holes I buried the flower roots in.The Good- CheapThe local greenhouse was charging about the same price for half as many worm castings. I paid $1.10 a pound for these.- No smell and good appearanceThe castings don't have much of a smell. A very slight damp, earthy scent if you sniff them closely. They have a very dark black color and are granular in shape, a few small clumps here and there; easily broken apart by hand. Very healthy looking.- The plants like themWith the weather getting warmer by the day, the seeds and roots I've planted are slowly, but surely coming up. So far all my plants look healthy and I expect lovely blooms and a good vegetable harvest. The Bad- Goes faster than I'd likeWhile these are cheap as far as worm castings go, they still cost over 30 dollars a bag. It took one bag to add about an inch of castings each to two of my small raised beds. These castings will get used up fast, so plan accordingly, especially if you've got a large garden or if you like to be extra generous with your worm castings. If I need more worm castings in the future, these will be at the top of my list. I've yet to make worm tea out of these, so I can't say how effective it is in that regard.

Wonderful amendment for my garden!
I raise worms for my own castings but haven’t had enough yet so I’ve been buying these. These are so nice and are absolutely perfect for adding to all my flower beds and raised garden beds. Excellent quality!

Rich quality and price.
I’ve bought many different worm castings over the years. This by far, the richest, best quality I’ve ever seen. It’s not clumped together, it smells like it should, rich healthy dirt. It’s so dark and feels great. And it’s a great price too. I don’t think you’ve gone up in price in years. That’s impressive.

The Scoop On That Poop 🥄💩!
I used to have my own worm farm, as soon as I opened the bag, I could tell this was 100% “Black Gold”. The richness is unparalleled, and the texture is fine. It is nutrient dense and moist. It can compact which requires the use of perlite to prevent compression. There is no unpleasant or overpowering odor, just an earthy scent. It can be applied as a top dressing, mixed into potting mixes, or used as a component in compost tea. I mix my worm castings with moisture control garden soil, coco coir, and perlite. It has worked wonders in my garden. I would add extra worm castings to my plants once a month and for some I have done once every two weeks. So far, I have had all my plants producing loads of fruit. There is no doubt my harvest this year will be super productive, and that these castings will keep some of my indoor plants fruiting year-round.The price is worth it, there are no additives or foreign materials in this bag, just 100% Worm poop! Which all your plants will love! The bag does contain 30Ibs, which at first, I thought was a lot since I was using it in growing containers at home but when I started to use it in outdoor gardening, I quickly realized I would need more to cover my raised beds. It’s important to consider your garden space for the season when ordering.I highly recommend this!

Excellent product!
In recent years, my vegetable garden has been disappointing. This year, I bought a large bag of the worm castings and mixed it into the soil before planting. Best garden I've had in years!
