It was very easy to incorporate this into my Viking costume for the renaissance fair. Hasn’t broken on me yet, very easy to carry.

I definitely like this little foam axe. It actually looks really good with excellent detail. It's definitely not going to make anyone think it's real however, so the realism is limited. The great detail and illusion of a real axe is best from a side view, but from a blade edge view it loses its impact due to the thickness of the "blade." And it does wiggle a little bit where the handle and blade meet, revealing its flexible foam nature, undoing some of the illusion. That said though, it looks really good for a foam axe replica and it looks very cool hanging on my gym wall. So overall I really like it, but I do think it's a little overpriced - not offensively so, but a little. Still, I'd recommend it.

Within a few days of owning it had to be glued back together. The point where the handle goes into the axe is not sturdy. It either needs to be thicker to balance the size of the axe or needs to have some sort of wrap on it.

It's amazing how real and authentic this axe looks. Although it is relatively soft, I was surprised that it was this strong and pointy tip can hurt. It is a great costume piece for Halloween and/or parties. The details on the blade and handle make the axe look like something a real Viking would have. the details are also very good because it is pretty much flawless. also, they made the blade look like real metal and they made the handle look like real wood. Also, the handle is great because it wasn't completely straight but very ergonomic.I sincerely hope that you would find my review helpful.
