Costly Solution with Somewhat Limited Utility
This product is nothing more than a standard double gang box with a blank partition to separate the two sides, one for 120v AC duplex outlet (included) and the other side for whatever low voltage QuickPort connectors desired. The included QuickPort insert or adapter holds four connectors (also called "Keystone" connectors). Since I needed to connect 6 low voltage devices, I ordered separately an insert that would accommodate that number of devices.Probably compounded by my need to accommodate 6 QuickPort (Keystone) connectors, I found the box depth to be minimally adequate. Whether USB, HDMI or RJ-45 connectors, the incoming cabling often has a fairly substantial end, which must be plugged into the corresponding QuickPort connector. The room afforded by the box is just barely adequate. One must be extremely efficient in the manner of how the incoming cabling is fed into the box and then to the connectors or the entire thing becomes impossible to manage during final assembly.I also found the distance from the top of the QuickPort connectors on the outgoing side was simply too restrictive to allow cabling to be fed through the four holes in the brass plate. Of course, this was compounded by the use of a 6-port Keystone or QuickPort insert rather than the supplied 4-port insert. Still, the amount of space afforded with which to connect cables directed outward to the various devices one wishes to connect is minimal at best.If I were to redesign this product, I would use a much deeper box. Instead of the supplied 3.5" depth double gang box, I would use a 4.5" or 5" deep box, thus affording a good deal more working room for incoming cabling. Obviously, it depends upon the type of low voltage cabling one employs and also the number of cables. As it happens, I was able to carefully thread all six cables to their corresponding QuickPort connectors, however it was a challenge.I solved the lack of space in the upper portion of the installation by adding additional depth to the front of the box using stock box extenders. Thus, rather than the restriction imposed by the proximity of the brass trim plate to the top of the connectors, there is a good deal of additional room with which to make the cable connections. This does, however, require that one make the connections by feeding the cables through the brass trim plate from the top down, and then position it so as to secure it with the included 6/32 brass screws. The amount of time to do all the above is further compounded by the necessity to purchase other items (ring extenders, etc.) and simply the assembly, adjustment and positioning process. However, if one is not intimidated by a bit of a project, as well as being somewhat handy, the end result is quite pleasing. Some reviewers have suggested that certain QuickPort adapter inserts (1-, 2-, 4- & 6-ports alike) would not accommodate Keystone connectors and that Keystone plates wouldn't accommodate QuickPort connectors, whereas other reviewers indicated that it was a non-issue, and a couple reviewers stated that they had to modify the width of a specific connector by deftly touching it to a rotating emery wheel with which to reduce its side-to-side dimensions just a bit. I did not experience any such difficulties, though I did mix QuickPort and Keystone connectors in the install. I used the OnQ / Legrand WP3416WH 6Port Decorator Outlet insert (search Amazon if interested). While some of the connectors are a bit more snug than others, I was able to add them all without modification, however I would not have hesitated to modify their width by the above method had there been a necessity to do so. I do caution that one plans out the positioning of the various connectors in advance, especially as to how the positions of each connector will influence running the cables that feed into the box. Some configurations are unmanageable due to the size of the cable plugs, thus interfering with each other in final positioning.Be advised that, once the connectors are snapped in place, they can be a challenge to remove if one wishes to reconfigure their positioning. When I needed to move a QuickPort or Keystone connector to reposition, I resorted to using a 8" needle nosed pliers in order to exert enough pressure on the snap tabs, as well as to provide enough leverage with which to snap them back out of the box insert. (I recommend the Klein 8-inch needle nosed pliers, which would be one of the best investments one can make if one is doing a good deal of wiring. Klein makes other professional wiring tools that are a pleasure to use when performing the tasks for which they are designed. They're costly, but you get what you pay for. I'm particularly enamored to Klein's 9-Inch High Leverage Side Cutting Plier and they make a great wire stripper as well.)I ended up with my desired final installation, albeit with considerable planning and a good deal of modification. I would also caution that one must be careful to cut the hole in the flooring material to be just adequate to allow the insertion of the box assembly. Over sizing the hole will complicate the installation and could compromise its physical integrity. In my case, since I added additional extension rings (2), the hole I cut was larger than would have been necessary for the stock box as supplied, but that was my specific installation requirements.Overall, this is a fairly well-conceived product, though its execution is a bit wanting, as I've described above. Observing that leaves me with this final comment. It's overpriced in my opinion. It's just not that complex and should be priced at about half what is asked. However, I checked out other purchase options and found this one to afford the best price/value ratio out of a host of pricey offerings, though that just means that there were worse available options. Should I ever need one, before I would purchase this item again, I would likely go to my local electrical supply distributor to see if I could purchase individual components and build one up to my particular specifications rather than purchase this item and then incur the additional costs of modifying it to my needs. That's especially true if I were seeking a box for 6 connectors rather than the supplied 4-connector product. Thus, I give it 3/5 stars. However, if one only needs it for an AC duplex outlet and 4 connectors, it may be a useful solution as is.

The top plate was difficult to fit down over the receptacles. Not a big issue as the covers remain open most of the time.

Looks nice; minor difficulty installing.
This outlet met my needs nicely; I'm using it in my sewing room. The brass cover looks great. My son, who is an electrician, had a little bit of trouble getting the brass cover to fit flush to the floor. After chiseling didn't work, he finally did away with the outer metal that surrounded the outlets. The "ears" on these were thick and kept the plate from fitting snug against the floor. This solved the problem, the plate fits nice and flush, and looks really nice.

Brass Cover sucks
Brass cover does not fit properly over the sockets. Have to modify, i.e. files brass holes. For the price it sucks!

Great product but may take some time
Great concept! Unfortunately we had some trouble getting all the pieces to fit together at final installation. We were installing in 1" hardwood. After assembly it worked perfectly. No complaints 6 months later.

High Quality item as described
I received my electrical box very quickly after ordering. Everything was there, and no shipping damages. The installation went smoothly as their are adjustments built in for out of level or different height flooring. The brass finish is perfect and I am very happy I bought this product.

looks beautiful
We just installed character grade white oak floors. There was a floor outlet that had plastic covers. They looked so cheap! These really give the floors the "class" they deserve.
