My daughter went through a cactus phase. This backpack was cute and well made. She carried it the whole school year and never had a rip, tear, or broken zipper. It is sturdy. I have even washed the whole thing a few times and it came out just fine. We still use it from time to time.

My daughter is a taller than average 6 year old and this backpack is HUGE on her. Very nice quality and super smooth and soft but it is definitely a regular sized adult back pack. Just wish it didn’t advertise as for children.
