ICY DOCK
Works great. It is a bit weird that the drives don't sit flush and instead stick out a bit, but that isn't an issue for me.

This thing has been great!
I'm writing this review after using the dock for a couple of years. I enabled hotswap on my motherboard, and ever since have been using SSDs as giant flash drives. I haven't run into any issues in my time using this, and the convenience of being able to slot in a backup drive as needed is super useful for me.

Allows for hot swapping of drives
If your motherboard support hot swapping then this makes it easy from a DVD slot. I will note that I was unable to get the unit to lock down like a typical DVD unit.

Easy to use
I was surprised how easy this was to use. Source drive in slot an and target in slot b, hold down the clone button until the lights flash and then release and quickly press again. All you have to do after that is wait. I’ve never had a failed clone with this product.

It works well, and helps me reduce SATA power cables needed to use in my PC.
I have a SilverStone GD08B HTPC case and needed a better power cable management solution since the SATA data cables were a pain to deal with dealing with less cables while keeping all 4 SSDs in a central location is crucial. This fit nicely in one of my 5.25" bays and I only need one SATA power cable to power them all. The SSDs don't get hot being so close together and adding them to the dock is very simple. Right now I can only install four SATA drives anyway due to my motherboard so that is why I choose this over their six SSD to 5.25" bay dock, but with the way this is working for me if I ever upgrade the motherboard to one that allow five or six SATA SSD drives I will buy the other model. The only nit pick issue I got is the blue LEDs are too bright, and I don't like the flickering, but that is a personal issue due to the PC being close to my bed.

Well suited for smaller formfactor systems
I have this in a short depth 2U rackmount chassis, which doesn't have much room. Great space saver compared to some other models. It's reasonably well built for the price, but I wouldn't want to be inserting and removing drives regularly. Thinner SSDs that run cool seem to be the best fit for this unit. You'll encounter a lot of friction inserting and removing thicker drives.

Disappointing POS
This was a total disappointment, Made entirely of ABS plastic. Drives jut out about an inch from the front. There is absolutely no drive eject mechanism. Drives are VERY difficult to remove and require enough force to possibly damage the drives. I almost had to get a wrench! I had to remove the bay from the computer to remove the drives. Both 2.5" HDD and SSD. Overall a poorly engineered piece of tech junk. Biggest issue is that Amazon lumps together a number of units so that it is very difficult to get an idea of the reviews on a specific product. The only reviews on YouTube are for a much older and probably better engineered product. I would not recommend this to anyone!!!!
