Live Water Kefir Grains – Unique Cultures by Crave Longevity®

These arrived super quick, nice and moist in a sealed pack. I immediately welcomed them by making up the sugar solution for them to enjoy. I have made kefir water for some time now and have experimented with different flavours. I think I damaged my old grains ( not from Crave Longevity) as they got rather grumpy and would not grow or multiply and produced a lot of sediment even though the kefir produced tasted OK. I think I damaged them by washing them when it wasn't really needed, even after resting them they were not happy. I decided to start afresh and these grains are very happy and started working well after two wake-up sugar solutions. Giving my favourite second ferment ginger infusion a rest at the moment and now making fresh strawberry infusion, it's absolutely delicious and the grains are getting bigger and multiplying happily.

Package arrived promptly and I was pleased to see that the grains were large and well shaped. They were in fact so robust that they needed no time at all to adapt to their new environment and began to multiply from the very first day.I make water kefir and coconut water kefir and these super grains don't even seem to weaken when in the coconut water as I would have expected.I have an over-abundance of healthy happy kefir grains now after just one week. How do I slow them down?

These kefir grains arrived by first class post, making sure they weren't out of any nutrient solution for a long time. They came very well packaged indeed, in a sealed and inflated plastic packet. They were very fresh.I did notice that the description states you will get three to four tablespoons of grains, but like some other reviewers, all I received was about one tablespoon. It seems to be a growing issue on Amazon where sellers don't stick to proving what they've advertised, and that's disappointing.In any case, I've made a few water kefir brews from these grains now. They're healthy and vigerous as far as I can see, although this is the first time I've made kefir. They're certainly getting the job done, and hopefully I'll start seeing the grains multiplying soon.Despite the quantity being much lower than advertised, the quality certainly seems to be there, so I'd still say these are a good buy for a beginner. How they stack up against other kefir grains, though, I couldn't tell you. I'm happy with this purchase though.

There were a lot of grains, but they took a while to work and some appeared to die off. I think the travel must have weakened them? I haven’t contacted the seller yet as I’m encouraging them back to health. However I got milk kefir grains from the same seller. The grains were very few, but worked like miracles. I make 1 litre of milk kefir from them a day. They come in a small pack but are miracle grains.

This is my second order. I had ordered this first time around and successfully produced good water kefir. unfortunately I didn't take care of it enough and the kefir went bad.I ordered again as I was very pleased with my first order. However I am very disappointed this time around as the kefir hasn't formed after following the same instructions. I have waited for 4 days now without any luck. It just smells bad and water is sugary without any single bubble(saw the fizziness first time around). I am very disappointed with this as I have been given faulty grains.

This product is fantastic. Such a nice idea to ferment any drink that you want. I received the package with the grains immediately and begin to use it straightforward, thanks to the very informative list included, with instructions and recipies. The grains were quite vivid and gave an excellent fermentation to my fruit juices. Will surely buy again...

I received the WK grains the next day via the post. The packet contained about 1 table spoon of small granules of WK grains.I'm a newbie to kefir brewing and it was easy to do.I used Organic Rapadura sugar and a little bicarbonate of soda for extra mineral content to activate the grains. After 2 days of fermenting I poured my 1st batch in another glass jar with chopped organic ginger to ferment further, it was fizzing after 2 days.The photo show my second batch, (day four after initial purchase) the grains have rapidly grown in a short space of time!!I'm very pleased with the results and it tastes amazing, 10yr old enjoyed it too..I'm looking forward to making coconut milk kefir next.I've had a great experience overall, a massive thumbs up.

This arrived promptly and all the necessary instructions were with it, but I think I might be doing something wrong as I'm not getting many bubbles. It could be that I need to put it in a warmer place to ferment, because I've followed all the instructions carefully. The filter bag that came with it is of very good quality, but I do find it a bit oversized so will use something smaller so that it's easier to get the grains out once I've strained the liquid off. I do like the taste - quite delicious.
