These are great , they do a super job at catching flying insects. I used to sell these 20 years ago and recommend them to friends and customers that could benefit from them.

They ave made some improvements yet the old liners still fit the new model. Yay!

it's efficiency to catch bugs

I have ordered two and both of them were damaged but the boxes were ok. I sent them back. Must be their quality control. I haven't ordered another one yet.

I was BEYOND excited to see this bad boy pop up on my feed. My dad was over at our home the other day talking about how bad the flies were at his house, to which both my husband and I chimed in "YES! We thought it was just us!" These rainy summer days have made for the perfect storm for house flies, fruit flies, and mosquitos. We had multiple fly swatters strategically placed around the house BEFORE this insect trap came in. One, it is rather large, so please take the time to view the measurements. If you see my photo attached, below is a standard-sized thermostat for size reference. It comes with one large, removable sticky pad. After this sticky pad is all filled up with bugs, you will need a replacement sticky mat-- purchased separately. I wish a backup would've been included but the one is very large so hopefully, it will last us through the rest of the summer months. It is a very bright UV light that attracts the bugs into the sticky trap, rather than zapping. We unplug it when our toddler is in that area, as the plug line is very noticeable against our off-white walls and we worry he would accidentally pull it down on himself.It has worked fantastically for our home so far. The trap has caught countless flies, it's disgusting but satisfying to know my food isn't being contaminated by flies. Definitely large enough for an open-floorplan main floor, a cafeteria, or any large spaced room that needs help preventing flies.Per the instruction manual, do NOT stare at the blue UV light, not good for your eyes. Just putting this here in case you are one of those "I don't read the manual" persons.Also-- do not tuck the cord inside the metal bin- that's where the sticky part is and you will get very frustrated trying to get the cord out the next morning. The cord is pretty long, find a table, a high chair, something that you can lay the cord on safety. We strategically placed it next to our mantel so we can just put it up there when our tot is around.

We have been having issues with biting bugs and flies. I have tried traps, sticky tape, and that nasty smelling bag thing but nothing has come close to what this light has done in a week. I have so many bugs on the trap sheet and need to get another one. It has caught everything I have wanted it to including mosquitoes.Out of the box you are almost ready to go. You take the bottom out of the light, put your sticky tape in, shut it up, and turn on the light. You are then catching bugs.This thing is kind of big so take that into account.I put the thing outside and on the first night, I had to have over 100 bugs. Not little ones either. A few nights later there were bugs everywhere.This is a good light. It is solid and it works. You don't have dead bugs all over and the sticky tape is easy to remove and throw away. It works so well my next-door neighbor s going to buy one.
