Compact, efficient, quiet, auto shut-off
The Pro Breeze 1500ml Dehumidifier is a compact and efficient device designed for small spaces, such as bedrooms, offices, or bathrooms. With a water tank capacity of 1500ml, it can effectively reduce humidity levels in rooms up to 220 square feet, making it suitable for personal use. It operates with low noise, which is a major plus for nighttime or bedroom settings, ensuring it won’t disturb sleep. The energy-efficient design makes it cost-effective to run continuously without spiking electricity bills. Additionally, the automatic shut-off feature activates when the water tank is full, preventing any risk of spillage. The unit is lightweight and portable, allowing easy movement between rooms if necessary. One downside is that it may take some time to notice significant results in larger or more humid environments. Overall, it’s a solid, budget-friendly option for maintaining comfortable humidity levels in small to medium spaces.

Great as long as you understand what it's designed for
This little unit is a good alternative to desiccant based units which can be costly over time (as long you have a handy power socket). The unit is cheap to run and fairly quiet, I find it has a similar noise level to the fan on my PC. It seems well made and the tank fills over 3 or 4 days for us.Keep in mind though, that If you have a significant issue with high humidity levels and damp in your property this isn't going to address the issue in a significant way. Our property has gradually become damper, probably through indoor clothes drying on radiators and cooking, and the humidity levels when the heating was on in winter were becoming uncomfortable. We have ended up buying a full size dehumidifier and the difference in the amount of water it extracts is amazing. The full size unit is a lot louder and more expensive to run but extracts water at about 20x the rate of this little unit. We now have a far more comfortable living room with humidity down from 70% to under 50%, but it took a full size dehumidifier to achieve that.So in summary, this is a great little unit for small spaces and keeping condensation at bay, but be aware that it's not designed for dealing with significant damp and high humidity levels.

Purchased in 2017 - Still going strong in 2020
I got this product as my bedroom was starting to acquire a mildew aroma that naturally, wasn't welcome. It looks cheap and tacky, but I didn't want to spend much money on a solution that might not work.Let's start by explaining what this item actual is. Inside this unit is a tiny refrigerator that cools down air brought in by a fan. The cooling air then condenses and water droplets form. This is the same way that condensation forms on your caravan window on a cold day and you have your heating on. This liquid is then collected in the lower tray while the air, slightly colder and drier than before, is ejected back into the room.Taking the above into consideration this means there are two noticeable effects. The noise of the fan and the cooling of the air. As I let this machine run practically 24 hours I can attest that the noise is quiet and uniform, it took me a couple of days to adjust to the 'white-noise' effect of this machine running. I can say the noise is similar to a computer gently idling in an office. The cooling of the ejected air is barely noticeable and would likely be easily overwhelmed by natural room heat. I think it might be a couple of degrees change at the very most.Longevity:I have had two events that has resulted in this unit almost dying on me. I must add that it has not died, and is still doing its job now.The first incident was when I noticed the tray had stopped accumulating water. This was about 18 months after I purchased the unit. After a brief inspection I noticed the vents were filled with dust. Using a stiff paint brush I cleared the vents and air could now get into the machine. The second incident was a few days ago. I woke up to find the machine sitting in a pool of water. Again, a further inspection revealed there was a fluff blockage where the water leaves the unit and enters the reservoir tray. Upon removing the offending fluff, I then placed the unit on a rack and let it run for 24 hours. The unit has performed fine since and has returned to my bedside. Please note that none of the inspections and fixes involved removing any screws or components other than the user removable reservoir tray. All maintenance was done with a brush or fingers and ensuring that it was isolated from the electrical supply before doing so.Conclusions:This will be fine for a small room such as a caravan or medium sized bedroom. Keep the unit clean and dust-free and it will look and last for a while. I recommend putting it on an absorbent cloth in case the machine does develop a fault. If you want something you can plug in and leave, then buy something more expensive. This is cheap and will need a bit of attention from time to time. It can be independently turned off and the green LED can be covered over with a little sticker or blu-tack if it bothers you at night.Secondly, I was not paid to write this review and I did not receive the unit for free. I had forgotten how much I paid for the unit and looked it up on Amazon. ÂŁ36.99. It's a great little unit that is the size of a lunchbox. Easily portable enough to take on caravan holiday.EDIT - The unit died on 18/06/2020. It was full and the yellow light came on. When I replaced the water reservoir, the green light started to flash. This indicates, according to the manual, that it is not working (Yeah... Thanks manual).
