Flashlight Works Well
We chose this emergency flashlight to include in our emergency backpack following a series of emergency weather situations in our area. The box it arrived in displayed images of scenarios when having such a tool would prove beneficial. Upon unboxing, we found that there was multiple ways to charge this device, although the USB port was the best, and easiest, method. It would likely take quite awhile to charge via the hand crank, but I guess that is true for most items like this and to be reserved for emergency situations. Charging via USB worked well however and produced more than enough charge for us to learn about and test all the product's features and to use it nightly for dog walks for over a week now (and still working, although will need to charge again soon). The flashlight has 5 modes (high/med/low/SOS/emergency strobe. The antenna telescopes out, and is recessed when not in use. We could not get it out without using a key to push it forward. (This was also true for the recessed solar panel). We were able to tune the radio fairly easily to an FM station before we read the instructions and managed to tune it further after a bit of trial and error (and some reading). My one concern is the hand turning crank. It feels fragile, and I would be concerned it may break if I was using it in a real emergency situation.Overall we do like this product. We decided to pack it in our emergency backpack but will include some additional flashlights as well.

Covers a lot of basics, wish it was cased in aluminum..
Pros: All in all it's a good emergy flashlight with all the bells and whistles. Well thought out design, radio picks up decent AM/FM/Weather range, good speaker, battery life is nominal but with the hand crank that doesn't matter so much. Combine that with the power imput/output USB's and solar input... it's a versitile little package! I even kept it in my day bag for a month without any battery bleed.Cons: Biggest thing for me is the casing material, it's pretty cheap molded plastic and due to how the "lantern" switch is activated by pulling back the solar panel, it's a major weak spot that will kill the whole device if any part of that mechanism is damaged.Overall: Great for emergencies, could help for survival but don't count on it lasting unless you baby it.

Ingenuity at its best
Bought one for my son because I had something similar and everyone likes it. This one was a little better because the lantern is quite bright and it allows you to use the lantern simultaneously with the flash light and the radio is quite loud too and it does NOAH for weather. I play with it quite often. Lol.

Great product for the price
I think it’s a great product for the price. The light is super bright and I appreciate that I can charge it as opposed to having to switch batteries. The radio scanning works decently; I’m not sure I’d use that feature too much but it’s nice that it’s there if needed. The SOS sound is nice and loud too. Overall very happy with the purchase. I’ll be taking it on our next camping trip.

Great price for a ton of features
The media could not be loaded. Great product. Light is bright, nice little reading light and the speaker is sufficient. Was able to dial in multiple stations on the AM, FM, and emergency band. The SOS sound is nice and loud if you need it. I was able to charge a phone with no issues. I highly recommend this product.
