I LOVE LOVE LOVE this French Press. It’s quality is top-notch!!! Perfect. Tight perfect fit of lid and plunger; doesn’t drip, ever; keeps coffee warm. This type of workmanship is what I always look for in products but rarely ever see these days. The sandstone blends well with my white kitchen, woods, copper + black accents. I couldn’t be happier with this product. I’ve officially stored my much loved OXO Brew coffee maker to get away from possible hidden toxins.

Purchased to replace the glass version of a French Press received with an order of ground cacao - as Frieland claims, the brewed beverage does retain heat nicely, and the enamel version I bought looks and feels sturdy. I have not yet tried to clean the unit yet, but I imagine the result will be somewhat messy, a small price to pay for the nice result. I was surprised that the plunger went all the way to contact the lid, but the grounds produced a rich beverage, so I believe the grounds were sufficiently compressed. Totally worth the price for the smooth interior and tight fit of the plunger unit.

Use it every day. Heavier and better design and filter than the cheaper French presses. Got this half off, certainly would not buy at full price.

Bought this press to replace the failing electric drip coffee maker we keep in our travel trailer. I experimented using it at home & now have decided that I need one for both places! French press coffee is the epitome of the best coffee you will ever drink; there isn't a hint of bitterness or off taste. The procedure is so easy that I now regularly choose to make our coffee at home using this coffee maker more often than not. This one makes about 2 1/2 "large" mugs of coffee or probably close to 4 "regular" sized cups. The whole process only takes about 10 minutes, from boiling the water to brewing in the pot, to the press & pour. The entire device is made of stainless steel, so it is very easy to clean. We now have the BEST tasting coffee in both of our worlds!

We like that it's metal vs. glass because glass presses so frequently shatter. And we really liked the color. But the paint almost immediately started peeling off. I recommend purchasing a metal french press which isn't coated with paint.

Our 50 yr old Melior French press worked like a charm until the glass cracked. I'd admired the insulated Frieling model at my sister and brother in law's. Unlike the Melior which needed a 'coffee cozy' to keep the coffee warm, the Frieling models have insulation built-in. Also love the blue color and the stainless steel durability means we don't have to be as careful. Pretty sure this coffee apparatus will outlast us!

Although the french press keeps the coffee warm the beautiful yellow color (paint) chips. It is irritating to see all the chips with use.

I originally loved this french press, but the yellow paint has already started to come off.

I haven’t used it yet but looks durable. Im liking the finish aswell.
